NEW DETAILS: Man who barricaded himself in Midland Apartment arrested on multiple charges

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - UPDATE: Thursday evening, Midland Police officers were dispatched to West Midland about a disturbance with a weapon.
Midland Police reported that the incident at Renew included a male subject armed with a knife and not letting his girlfriend leave the apartment.
After approximately one hour of negotiations, 40-year-old Jason Williams surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody.
Williams was transported to the Midland County Jail, where he was booked on multiple charges, including assault on a police officers.
