ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - The Shale Energy Conference and Trade show starts exactly one week from today on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021.

The two-day shale energy event will be here…. at the Midland Horseshoe.

It’s set to be one of the biggest industry events in the Permian Basin with both local and international energy companies set to take part.

Organizers say after more than a year of almost no in-person events. This will be a great opportunity to network and see new industry technology.

The president of Shale Energy resources, Jeff Kennedy says, “There are going to be over 200 companies involved .. um.. we’ve got some guest speakers coming in to speak.. um… we’ve got outdoor heavy equipment booths. We’ve got cook trailers. We got company cooking. There’s just a lot of new technology so I think uh it’s just a great event to really come out and see some new things you haven’t seen before.”

Kennedy added that the event will also feature several keynote speakers including industry executives and energy regulators.

The event wraps up on Thursday, June the 10th.
