List of charities and other qualified donees

Important notice

Only Canadian registered charities or other qualified donees can issue official donation receipts that qualify for charitable tax credits. However, they are not obligated to do so. Make sure to ask the organization if there are any circumstances where they won’t provide a receipt. You can’t claim a charitable tax credit or deduction unless you have a receipt.

Use this list to find the current status and any available public information of a charity or other qualified donee.
