CAMRIS Attends the BIO International Convention 2024

The CAMRIS team supporting the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Pilot Bioproduction Facility (PBF) thoroughly enjoyed attending last week’s BIO International Convention 2024 (BIO2024) in San Diego, CA, from June 3rd to 6th. We connected with industry leaders, explored groundbreaking innovations, and engaged in thought-provoking discussions about the future of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Experts from around the world shared a wealth of knowledge via keynote sessions, insightful panel discussions, and more. The exhibition hall was filled with cutting-edge products and services that are set to revolutionize health.

BIO2024 provided an invaluable platform for us to identify and establish synergies with external organizations, laying the groundwork for potential cooperative agreements with them and WRAIR to develop vaccines and therapeutics for infectious disease threats. CAMRIS looks forward to working closely with these organizations and WRAIR to leverage our collective expertise and resources to drive initiatives that support the health and well-being of those who serve.

Thank you to everyone who met with us at the convention and BIO for organizing and facilitating such a wonderful event. We made meaningful connections and relationships and look forward to applying what we learned and collaborating with our new partners to advance health for our military community and beyond.
