Daley Quinn is a Byrdie contributor and a freelance journalist who covers beauty, health, and lifestyle beats. She also works as a content strategist and runs a blog called The Daley Dose. Daley has been published in both print and digital outlets including Allure, Fashionista, Well + Good, Women’s Health, The Cut, WWD, HelloGiggles, Healthline, Real Simple, Shape, and more. 

Because Daley lives in New York City, she often attends beauty events to get the latest scoop and introduction on new and innovative beauty products. She gets new products sent to her apartment almost every day to test out, and there’s nothing she loves more than a new acne-fighting skincare product or glowy cream blush. Daley has more than ten years of industry experience writing and editing, and interviews top industry experts every week for the various stories she writes for multiple outlets. Daley started her journalism career at Family Circle magazine, where she worked her way up to an assistant beauty editor position, before leaving to work freelance. 

When Daley isn’t reporting on the latest pimple-fighter, skincare for sensitive skin, or drugstore mascara (they’re just as good as high-end mascara, trust), she’s taking care of her needy baby (a little Havanese puppy named Briar Rose). Daley also loves to write for her personal blog, and creates beaded necklaces in her free time, too.

Education

Daley received a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies from Fordham University. She also attended the University of Cape Town while studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa in 2013.
