OnePlus to launch new Nord smartphone today – Nord CE 4 Lite expected to launch

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch its latest Nord series smartphone in India today, June 18. The company has scheduled an event to launch a new smartphone in the country.

OnePlus has been teasing a new device, which it claims will be “your all-day entertainment companion”. While the company has not revealed the device, it is expected to be the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, a new affordable smartphone from the company in its Nord series.

While the company has set up a landing page on its website, it has not scheduled a video on YouTube yet. At this moment, it is not clear if the company will host an event for the device.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite expected price

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was launched in India with a starting price of INR 19,999. The Nord CE 4 Lite is also expected to launch with a similar starting price considering the increased competition in this segment.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite expected specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to run on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS 14 on top. It is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dragontrail Star2 protection.

In terms of performance, the Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. Like its predecessor, it is expected to be available in two variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to feature a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device is expected to feature a 16MP selfie camera.

The Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to be equipped with a large 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
