Amazon Prime Day is one of the best times of year to find big discounts on TVs from every major brand. This year's sale is set for July 16 and 17, and our tech experts will be rounding up all of the best Prime Day TV deals throughout the event.
Last year, we saw great discounts on flagship OLEDs and budget-friendly displays that use Amazon's Fire TV operating system. We expect a similar crop of Prime Day TV deals in 2024. And though the official sale doesn't start until July, you can already snag great savings on some of our favorite TVs. The LG G3 OLED, one of our picks for the best 4K TVs, is $500 off. And Hisense's brand-new 55-inch U6N QLED is down to an all-time low.

Best early Prime Day TV deals
The Omni Series isn't the best when it comes to picture quality but boasts handy smart TV features like hands-free Alexa support and video calling (camera sold separately), along with the latest Fire TV software.
The Roku Plus Series is the brand's budget-friendly QLED display. The TV has local dimming and quantum dots to provide solid contrast, color, and brightness capabilities. For under $500, the 55-inch model is a great value for anyone who wants a capable smart TV.
Hisense's U6N is one of the most budget-friendly Mini LED TVs on the market. It can deliver up to 600 nits of brightness with wide color support, making it an excellent entry-level HDR display.
The U7N is the successor to last year's U7K, our favorite midrange 4K QLED TV of 2023. This new model promises a 50% increase in peak brightness, which is an impressive feat for the money.
Though the B3 isn't the most advanced OLED TV, it's the most budget-friendly model and still delivers an infinite contrast ratio.
Samsung's Frame TV can be mounted flush against your wall like a hanging piece of art. It also features a matte screen to make it look more like canvas, and you can purchase optional magnetic frame bezels in different colors and designs.
The S90C delivers excellent 4K image performance with top-notch contrast and bright colors for less than similar 77-inch OLEDs from Sony and LG.
The U8N is Hisense's 2024 flagship QLED TV. It uses a Mini LED backlight to preserve deep black levels while offering support for up to 3,000 nits of brightness. That's more than enough to enjoy vivid HDR videos, even in rooms with lots of light.
The 2023 S95C is still one of Samsung’s top OLED TVs. It has a sleeker design and a brighter picture than step-down models, but it can't quite reach the peak brightness of Samsung's 2024 S95D. And while it has better black-level performance in a bright room, it can't combat reflections as well as the S95D.
The C4 is LG's latest midrange 4K OLED TV. It carries over everything we loved about last year's C3 while offering a slight increase in brightness and support for a faster 144Hz refresh rate with a PC.
The G3 uses micro-lens array technology to get brighter than most other OLED TVs while still offering perfect black levels. It also has a thin "Gallery" design that makes it ideal for mounting on your wall. However, it does not include a traditional stand.
The S95D is Samsung's flagship 4K TV for 2024. It's the brightest OLED we’ve ever measured and it has a unique anti-glare screen that nearly eliminates reflections. However, the matte display gives black levels a slightly elevated look in a bright room.
The G4 is one of the most impressive OLED TVs we've tested, but its benefits over last year's more affordable G3 are subtle. However, unlike the G3, this 2024 model comes with a stand and supports a faster 144Hz refresh rate for smoother PC gaming.
Samsung's 83-inch S90C is a fantastic midrange OLED that delivers an infinite contrast ratio and wide viewing angles. However, unlike smaller versions of this model, the 83-inch size does not use quantum dots, so color volume isn't as high.
Though the benefits of 8K resolution are hard to see, there's no denying how incredible the QN900C looks, especially if you get an extra-large model.

Amazon Prime Day 2024 will be held on July 16 and 17. The 48-hour event will start at 12:01 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on July 16.
Are Prime Day TV deals worth it?
Though we typically see slightly bigger discounts on Black Friday, Prime Day is easily one of the best times to buy a TV. Many models get excellent deals during Amazon's sale and it's not uncommon for some TVs to fall to all-time low prices.
What TV deals do we expect on Prime Day?
If past Prime Days are any indication, we expect to see great savings on TVs of all sizes from every major brand, including LG, Sony, Samsung, TCL, Hisense, and Vizio. Likewise, TVs that use Amazon's Fire TV operating system tend to get especially good discounts.
Prime Day is also one of the first major deal events to occur since the release of this year's latest TV models, so the event could offer the first chance to save big on brand-new 2024 displays. Likewise, 2023 models should continue to drop in price as retailers try to sell through their remaining inventories.
Last year, top TV deals included discounts on various displays, from entry-level Fire TVs to high-end OLED and QLED models as big as 100 inches. We expect a similar assortment of deals on TVs that cover all budgets.
Who can shop for Prime Day TV deals?
Official Prime Day deals, including TV discounts, are exclusive to Amazon Prime members. To unlock deal pricing, you'll have to sign up for Prime. The service costs $15 a month or $139 a year, and new members get a free one-month trial. If you're new to Prime, we recommend waiting to sign up until we're within a month of the sale. That way, you can shop for Prime Day deals during your free trial.
