IS&T offers a full range of services and systems in support of personal and shared computing and connectivity. Services include desktop computing support, computer labs, printing and print management, service management systems, email, collaboration and social media platforms such as BU Google Sites and Microsoft SharePoint, telephone services, video and web conferencing, websites, webcasting and podcasting, digital signage, A/V services outside the classroom, and television.

At the IT Help Center, professional assistance with desktop and notebook computing is available online and via telephone and in-person support. Staff provide help with purchasing, protecting, using, and fixing your computer, and with access to software distributed by the University. IS&T also offers desktop administration and desktop deployment services to departments without their own technical support staff. A state of the art, general purpose computing lab and print center is available at the BU Common @ Mugar.
