The Red Sox open their final homestand of the first half with a three-game set against the Oakland Athletics, and Brayan Bello will take the hill for Tuesday’s series opener.

Coming off a strong bounce-back outing in Miami in which he allowed one run over 6.2 innings, Bello will face an Athletics team that currently sits last in the AL West at 34-58. Bello (8-5, 5.19) will match up against Oakland’s Joey Estes (3-3, 4.39), who threw a complete-game shutout his last time out on July 3 against the Los Angeles Angels.

The Red Sox will stick with the same lineup they fielded on Sunday in New York, with newly minted All-Star Jarren Duran and speedster David Hamilton batting one-two at the top of the order, power threats Tyler O’Neill and Rafael Devers in the three-four spots and Connor Wong batting fifth as the catcher.

Ceddanne Rafaela, who will start at shortstop for the seventh time in the last eight games, will bat ninth.
