When Bentley reaches out and asks if Grasso’s Garage has any stables open for a weekend test, we always make room. With over 95 different exterior color options, the 2024 Bentley Continental GT S enters Grasso’s Garage wrapped in a magnificent Magenta exterior. On the inside, our tester offered the Porpoise main hide with a damson secondary hide and Piano Black veneer. The Continental GT S offers 24 hide colors, 23 different veneer finish options, over 40 contrast stitching color options, 30+ hand cross stitching options, emblem colors galore, and an array of much more personalized features confirming your GT S will never be like like anyone else’s in town.

Powering the 2-door coupe GT S, is typical Bentley, with their illustrious powertrain, the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque while riding on 22-inch ten spoke sports wheels. Showing a 0-60 time at 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph, the GT S is certainly a wide body beast, ready to tackle both everyday driving and speed enthusiasts abound.

Our tester came with over $69K worth of options including touring specifications, Naim for Bentley (their surround sound system), the rotating center console infotainment display, contract stitching as mentioned earlier, and styling specifications just to name a few. While handling, suspension, road noise and responsive were 100% on top of their game, we recognized minimal flaws on our test. Recognizing that Bentley and Corvette are not in the same category price wise, it was nice for once not sit so low to the ground in the Continental GT S and still have that instant power this type of consumer not only wants, but demands.

As Bentley continues to strive for excellence, the GT S V8 delivers everything a real driver could ever want; Power, stability, design, comfort and elegance, and with over a quarter of a million dollar price point, reality sets in and consumers recognize, most likely this is out of their price range. Obviously everyone is in a different situation and thankfully readers of mine have reached out and questioned how this coupe tests overall and there are only positives in my eyes, granted if the old bank account agrees, that is.
