The first day of spring. Opening Day for the Sox. The Boston Marathon.

And the assembling of the Swan Boats.

The annual spring tradition returned to the Boston Public Garden on Monday ahead of the first day this weekend.

Workers assembled the Swan Boats in the nation’s first botanical garden before rides begin on Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Swan Boats operate from April 13 to Sept. 2. For more information, visit www.swanboats.com.
