Ken Mahan is the Boston Globe's Lead Meteorologist. Ken has been a meteorologist and weather producer for several national and local networks, most recently for NBC News’ Climate Unit. He’s worked for local TV news outlets throughout the country, including stops in Alaska, Wisconsin, and Massachusetts. Ken has covered numerous weather events across all four seasons, including nor'easters, tornado outbreaks, extreme heat and flood events, and hurricanes. Originally from Worcester, Massachusetts, Ken holds degrees from Assumption University and Mississippi State University.
