Maddie Khaw

Maddie Khaw is a metro co-op at the Boston Globe. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she is a junior at Emerson College double-majoring in journalism and interdisciplinary studies with a focus in race, gender, and social justice. Prior to the Globe, Khaw served as an assistant news editor for Emerson’s student newspaper, The Berkeley Beacon, for three semesters, covering campus features and citywide news. Outside of the newsroom, Khaw plays on Emerson’s women’s soccer team and enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling.
