Tulla’s is really, really fabulous accommodation! It looks like it has just been renovated and is clean and modern with lovely en-suites. There is an amazing roof terrace with beautiful views over the local beaches and towards Taormina and it also has sun loungers with umbrellas. The local beaches are only 2 minutes walk away. When you arrive you find out all the little things Tulla’s has thought of to make your stay as easy as possible. They give you a large (and free) bottle of water in your fridge, a very modern shared kitchen with free tea, coffee and popcorn, and the free use of sun umbrellas, beach towels and a thermal backpack to take to the beach. Public transport is also super easy from Tulla’s. The bus to Taormina( 1.9 euro) leaves from the sea side and only 50 metres away. The Train station(Taormina-Giardini) is a 6-8 minute walk away( there are no pavements for some of the walk but you get used to that pretty quickly.

Borgo La Chiusa is set in Cinisi, 33 km from Fontana Pretoria, 44 km from Segesta, as well as 16 km from Capaci Train Station. It is situated 32 km from Palermo Cathedral and features a shared kitchen. The guest house has family rooms. We booked this night very last minute due to a flight cancelation and airport change. We were happy to be one of the first people hosted at the property, apparently, as they had just opened… The staff was very helpful and polite, and the room was impeccable. We were traveling as a couple with out two small children, and there was plenty of room for the four of us.
