There are 2 stories and no elevator; not a big problem for us, but could be an issue for others. The property is “dated”, but clean and tidy. The bathrooms definitely need upgrades, especially counter/sink area. On a rainy or chilly day, there is no place to gather with friends except in one of the bedrooms.

It’s Convenient by car to downtown Lake Geneva. There is an outside patio by the pool to gather. Staff are friendly and work hard to keep the property clean and tidy.

This fantastic motel is in a great location but amazingly quiet for being on a major road in popular Lake Geneva. The room was large and well furnished. The layout and bed were so comfortable I could have stayed there very comfortably for a much longer trip. It is so clean that I now have a higher standard for all other hotels going here on out.

I didn't like that there were only window blinds and no drapes.

The motel is very nice. The owner/manager is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Smart TV, wifi, microwave and mini-fridge.

There was someone's old dirty sock behind the bathroom door. Yuck. The room was old and shabby. For the price we paid, it was horrible.

The only thing to like was the location right in Lake Geneva.

A hidden gem. The owner was very helpful and came to our room when we had an issue with the tv remotes. The pool was clean and nice that there were umbrellas , chairs and even b b que grills. He had flowers everywhere and that was a delight to see each day. The ac was good and the no curtains that wouldn't close together, but 2 in blinds which we really appreciated. Coffee makers in the rooms and in the lobby but no breakfast. Downtown Lake Geneva was only one mike away. Lighting was good as well as shower pressure. Don't miss this one.

How bout take just a fraction of the ridiculous amount of money you are charging people for these disgusting rooms and giving them a greasy coat of paint, new cabinets & fixtures and new toilets. Oh and freshly washed bedding could help too.

Been coming to Lake Geneva for 50+ years. Last minute decided to stay over night. Everything was booked so decided to try The Wells. From the minute we opened our door, I knew it was the worst decision. How can you justify charging ppl $300+ a night for these shabby rooms. Smelled musty & damp. Walls were dirty, toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet, dirty walls, mushy bed, dead bugs in the corner…just gross. I immediately wanted to get a refund and go home but my husband figured we were screwed as the confirmation said “no refund”. We finally left at 5:00 am after a sleepless night. Never again. Worst “hotel” motel experience I’ve ever had. Thanks for ruining my weekend.

We ended up showing up WAY past 11pm (the time required to get your room). The gentleman who answered was extremely cordial and just gave a reminder that time was 11 for check in. For the price it had clean rooms, nice people. Would definitely stay there again!
