The chassis in the room has to be cleaned. Every time we laid on it our skin began to itch all over even under clothing.

The steps going to second floor could have been wiped down. Handrail was sticky. Otherwise, everything was clean.

The bathroom was a little small and dated. A carpet would have been nicer than the tiled floor (and a very dark tile that made the place look gloomy).

A nice motel on the outskirts of the town. Nothing fancy but ticked most boxes. The room was a good size and was clean. The motel was off the road so was quiet with a large car park. It had most of the facilities you would want - fridge, coffee maker etc. Comfortable and good value for money.

hotel was only approx one mile from main street or state route 50. It is easy to find coming from Chicago, turn left at Mcdonald's and just go straight to hotel on right side. Operator was kind enough to provide requested lower room as there are no elevators. Area is clean and safe. Room is nice size with micro and fridge. Shower was great.

Had noisy neighbors, but that's not on the hotel. With as empty the inn was I found it odd they put me on the second floor. Not a lot of stairs, but was difficult with all my wedding supplies.

I'm not a fan of carpet and finding the rooms were totally tilted was nice. Did not expect anyone to come in and take out my garbage for a short stay, but was very pleased to come "home" to a clean room.

Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Shower kept getting hotter and hotter even though we turned it down then it got ice cold. No water regulation. Room was great size and very clean.

Didn’t like that there weren’t any rugs and the floor was cold.

Liked that location was very convenient, quiet, comfortable, nice check in and lots of channels to watch ( Hulu, Max, etc)

There is no breakfast offered. The location was decent. I felt the price to be way out of line. The room was very clean and spacious. It was older 2 floor hotel. Our room on 2nd floor. Only access was stairs. I would stay here again.

No elevator for second floor I specifically had an arm surgery and hard to hold my suitcase or anything heavy so I just managed little by little

I wanted to take a swim first in the morning on the day we checked out - but the pool was padlocked:( It was like 7:45Am on a Sunday so understandable, but I was just obsessed with that perfect water!

We booked our trip to Lake Geneva at the last minute - so were happy to find space even though it was a peak weekend in August. Rooms were what you would expect for any motel but with much nicer comfortable plush pillows and bedding. AC worked great in our room and the room smelled fresh and was clean. The provided refrigerator was big enough for us to unload our cooler box from the trip. And there was free ice provided for drinks. Our favorite feature about the property was the pool! The pool water and pool area were pristine with very comfy loungers and sun umbrellas provided. Even though it's right next to the parking lot there are some lovely trees in the meadow outside the pool which gave it a really rural and peaceful feeling. Water was clean, perfect temp, and not over-chlorinated. We were traveling with my mother-in-law who has some mobility issues and the property was able to guarantee a ground-floor room and even was able to check her in early, which we also appreciated. The hotel staff were very kind and friendly. I saw some people complaining about the price of the motel but for a town like Lake Geneva, we felt we got good value for what we paid and it's obvious that the hotel staff take the time to make it as comfy as possible.

What a friendly, great place - I was so delighted to find this so close (minutes) from downtown Lake Geneva. The room and grounds were perfectly kept, and it had the kind of small business throw-back warmth I didn't realized I've been missing in my travels. Wonderful family owned business that truly takes pride in their property, and cares about serving up real comfort and convenience at a value driven/affordable rate.

The only con is the morning coffee isn't available down at the office early enough. They have in-room coffee machines though, if you don't want to make a coffee run.

The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. It had a TV, refrigerator, microwave, and hairdryer which all worked! Plenty of towels and little bottles of lotion and shampoo, glasses and ice bucket. There was no carpet on the floor, just nice tile which is much better than carpet. Water pressure was good. The large pool is sparkling clean with plenty of chairs and tables placed around, as well as towels. They also have a fire pit and grills set out for those wanting to make their own meals. The staff is very accommodating. The price of a motel room at Geneva Wells is much more affordable than all of the other hotels in Lake Geneva and the location is much quieter.
