The room was a bit small for the price and did not have many amenities, like enough trash cans, hangers, etc. The staff was mostly good, but it appeared the pool staff spent more time enjoying the complimentary guest coffee then actually doing their jobs. This should have been better supervised.

Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere with a nice pool area and rooms that were quaint and comfortable for our stay. The front desk staff was friendly and they certainly kept things clean.

Limited storage in the room. No dressers or cabinets. The shower/bath tub only had a partial glass enclosure. Not very private.

One day the pool was closed because of the water problems, but, on the other hand, it shows that they are monitoring the pool water quality.

The hotel looks like a typical motel, but it is fully renovated, with a nice room design and everything is new and clean.

Housekeeping was slow and inconsistent each day. Pool water was kept clean but little attention to detail around the pool area, I.e tables not cleaned, cushions not re-set around the pool. Little attentions to could make such a difference to the experience. Rooms not soundproof and easy to hear people in rooms next door and coming back late from a night out.

Super friendly and helpful with a nice reception and interior. Lovely touch with free morning coffee. Gardens and pool area are a nice touch and parking easy.

Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Location is good, an easy walk to several food options, and we recommend walking down to Inman beach through the park! Pool area is lovely and nicely styled and we liked the additional outdoor seating and firepits too.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable. It also lacked any dressers so you had to keep most of your clothing in your suitcase.

Very limited amenities on site and had to travel quite far to the nearest shop. We were in a room right by the stairs so there was quite a lot of traffic past our room.

Staff were super friendly, the recently renovated rooms looked great and the pool was really clean.

Great size room. A lot of parking. The bathroom and setup was nice. The staff were very nice and great. I had an issue with my key (I had it close to my credit cards) and they fixed it right away. The coffee in the morning was nice and overall it was a nice stay. It's a few minutes from the beach and for the price, very great value.

You could hear some of the neighbors in the other rooms at times.

It’s beautifully remodeled, the pool area looks great (it was too cold while we were visiting for pool time). They have both single rooms and cottages with gas fire pits in between. It’s a very cozy place with many beaches and restaurants around. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to do.

The room was dark. Black floor tiles were dreary and not sure how easy they are to clean. Definitely not enough storage in room or bathroom especially for 4 people. If you needed to dress in the bathroom, there was nowhere to set clothes down. No hooks for towels, no place to hang wet bathing suits.

Just coffee was provided in the lobby. However great breakfast restaurant in walking distance. Also within walking distance to very small public beaches. Parking would cost $30. Pool area wonderful! Large indoor and outdoor pools as well as hot tub. Towels provided. Lounge chairs clean and comfortable. Covered seating area lovely. Beds in room were comfortable.

Stayed in ADA room. It would have helped us a chair in the room — there was not a chair for my husband to lean onto to get on and off bed.

There could have been better insulation. I could hear every bump above me, next to me and outside my door. My keycard expired a day early so I had to call the emergency number to get let in on my last night. My door tag flew off twice, so while I didn’t want turn over service someone tried to enter my room because they couldn’t see the door tag. There was no where to sit in the room except the bed and there was a kettle for tea but no where near the counter to plug it in.

Ask for a room on the upper floor if you’re staying in the main motel. Floors are a bit creaky and you’ll hear folks walking around otherwise. That being said, the guests were respectful of others and were quiet overall.

Nice grounds, great location, incredibly friendly staff. Comfortable beds, upscale linens, nice pools (indoor and outdoor), great options for shaded seating. Firepits are a nice touch. The cottages are wonderfully cozy with plush amenities.
