The lady at reception was great. When she came to know we travelled from Canada to NYC for our anniversary, she gave us a better room. We stayed there four nights and room/bed was really comfy. Hotel was very clean. Room has Microwave and fridge.

Distance was a little bit far from PATH if you need to travel to NYC by transit. We took Uber around 10$ each way.

1. The fact that the water in the shower didn’t work well and there was only a shower located up- so you can’t possibly wash small children 2. Nobody told us that the rooms are not made clean each day 3. They first gave us a room close to the railway station so the baby couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the acoustics

This is a deceptively large place, ideally located to catch a bus directly into NYC, along with shops and food close by. It is wonderfully clean, spacious and full of everything you could need for a great stay! The owner is responsive, attentive and ready to help. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting NY & NJ.

An wauthentic 19th century building very well maintained, with a beautiful backyard and a nice terrase. The location was very close to Exchange Place where you have everyday the opportunity to see the Financial District from the other side of the river, just like in a postcard. Enjoy!

The location... right across from the Exchange Place PATH station. Trains took us into downtown Manhattan in less than 10 minutes. Hearty breakfast. Rich spread and a variety of options to choose from. From the seating area, the fantastic NY skyline views are the cherry on top.

The view, or the lack thereof. It was horrid from our room. The window opened onto an adjoining terrace with the eyesore of the outdoor air conditioning unit staring at us. I find it impossible to believe that all the other rooms with a similar configuration as ours were occupied. Is this the treatment they give to guests who have booked from booking.com with the 'no prepayment necessary option', I can't say. We found ants and other bugs crawling on the carpet and in the bathroom. The bathroom had a frosted glass door that could not be locked. Not to mention, it directly faced the beds. It offered zero privacy, particularly in a room that sleeps 4. I mean, this is a basic design flaw. It's not rocket science, Hyatt. The door of the walk-in shower would not close quite snugly. The dry area in the bathroom and the bath mat got drenched after every shower use.

The stuff used in the apartment was so cheap. We did not have towels or extra bedding . No paper towels and napkins for kitchen . The linens given were also bad . Broken doors in kitchen and rooms . Clogged shower drains ( we opened them using draino) . Blinds were bad . All night light was coming in .
