I loved this hotel. The Village was outstanding and we loved the US$50 voucher for lunch/dinner at the hotel. Location was outstanding - we went to the main shopping centre and the main hub of Waikiki with only a short walk. The beach was easily accessible. We stayed in the Alii Tower which was close to both the pool and the beach. It also had it's own private pool which was good because the main pool was crowded on most days. Staff at the Hilton were outstanding. All willing to go above and beyond to help you out. Our room was clean and was really large. We travelled as a family of four (kids were 9 and 10) and it was the perfect location for our holiday.

The only thing we could fault was that the pool was crowded and it was hard to get pool beds/chairs - this is due to people holding onto them for the day. However we were lucky that we had the private pool in our tower. We opted for the beach on most days which was great.

The hotel is in a very central location and the reception staff were lovely. The room was pretty spacious and clean, although it probably needs a style refresh at some point.

The location was excellent, so close to Waikiki beach, no need to take wallet, phone etc, simply walk back and collect when you need them. It was a little old, but clean and roomy inside and a small kitchenette style as well. It was good not to pay extra taxes and it's not necessary with the beach so close.

Nothing really not to like, we didn't stay out too late but we felt safe. We knew the property was low key but it did exceed our expectation.

Room, for six, was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Evening reception was busy and well attended.

No cutlery or dishes in the small kitchen made eating in the room difficult at times. Appetizers at evening reception and breakfast was chaotic and overly busy. Not really relaxing.

Restaurant closed quite early 9.30pm last order for meal I believe,really lovely restaurant,the bar tenders were exceptional,the food was expensive but so tasty,the setting was spectacular,piano playing fantastic views,very nice
