- Having a washing machine within the room was very convenient, especially as the weather was very hot. - The staff were polite and approachable. - The air conditioning system was relatively simple to use, which helped keep the room nice and cool. - The hotel offered good value for money as it met all my needs at a moderate price. I didn’t feel I was lacking anything during my stay. - The hotel was situated in a handy location. I could access the Yamanote line around the corner, which was great for travelling to Shibuya. At night I could take the Chuo line and get to Shinjuku with only 4 stops. Starbucks was also at the station, which was good for mornings.

- I developed a rash while staying here. I notified the staff and an older gentleman was very receptive to my comments. He took a photo and promised to escalate it to check if it had anything to do with the bed. Although I suspect my bed had some form of bed bugs, I wouldn’t say this was the case for the hotel in general and may have just been limited to my room. However, it did make me apprehensive of sleeping on the bed. During my last night I slept on top of the duvet as I didn’t want to be itchy on a 14 hour flight home. I’m hoping the issue can be resolved quickly as I had no other problems at this hotel. - The hotel had poor WiFi connectivity on upper floors, especially on the 7th floor. I raised this with the staff but it seemed like a problem beyond their capacity to fix. - The hotel room was a little dated. It felt like a hotel that would have been incredibly high tech in the 1990s, but it doesn’t really meet the high expectations of the most cutting edge hotels in Japan today. An upgrade to the bathroom would be welcome.

The room was amazing, very spacious and beautifully designed. The water heater was so beautiful. And indeed the room was very quiet. We stood at the hotel for two nights with a night in between in Miyajima. The first night the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, even if their English language skills were poor so as our Japanese.

We tried to leave our luggage's for the night abroad, but the lady at the reception had no clue what we were talking about. The second night the welcome at the reception was less friendly and the room wasn't as clean as the first time.

Location is good. Room is very very big and spacious as well as the bathroom. It has a great sound system and is possible to smoke inside.

Check in is at 5pm, if you need to check in early you need to pay an extra fee. The bed is big but it is not so comfortable.

The wifi was so bad and hated how check in was 4pm-8pm. That’s such a short window of time. Plus i wanted to store my luggage earlier but they just said to use the station to store my luggage 🙄

We paid a high price because it was a weekend, so it was not really worth it for an overnight stay because check-in is strictly at 3pm and check out is at 10am. Some hotel staff were not very friendly and looked like they were having a bad day.
