- “I was not sure what to find from a 2 star hotel, however it definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was super clean, the toilet has washing system which you can adjust the pressure and heat! Japanese people very clean like Turks, so i was very glad for that. Bathroom has shampoo, shower gel and hair conditioner which i only liked the smell of shampoo and used that only, i already brought these things from my own country anyway. there was AC which was very easy to adjust. The pillow was hard but i asked softer one which they provided immediately. Room has mini fridge, too. Housekeeper cleans your room every day and changes towels. There was kettle in the room. You can find every cleaning material in main floor for free (toothbrush, token, even shower washclot, ear cottons, pleasant smelling bath salts, and other toiletries that a person may neeed) There was no breakfast but you can get free coffee, different kinds of tea and water which was enough for me. The staff were very kind and helpful.”

  Private space, well decorated, super clean and well provided with facilities such as a coffee machine (which has a good choice of coffees), fridge and microwave (that I unfortunately didn't get to make much use of due to my flight being delayed). The host was really easy to get hold of and quick to respond to any questions. Lovely neighbourhood and location is just round the corner from some great eating and drinking.

  Unfortunately as a person on the larger size I couldn't fit in the chairs provided and the toilet involved a smidge of gymnastics. Won't be a problem for most folk but just be aware if you are. Some instructions for the various gizmos and gadgets would have been helpful (I did figure it out in the end!)

  I felt like the listing for this stay was described really well, we got what we signed up for, in the best way! The apartment was very clean, the staff was friendly, available, and helpful. As a bonus, the property had extra amenities we weren't expecting, like free family movie nights in their theater room, 3 pools (1 indoor and 2 outside), hot tub, mini golf, tennis, etc. Great place to stay with family

  The beds could have been a bit comfier, although I was able to sleep on them, so they weren't terrible, and some of the pots and pans need replaced in the unit, but again, usable.

  The shuttle took some time to get - apparently the handover of notes between folks at the reception did not happen. There was a slight smell in the room, not too noticeable though. The fitness center had no weights and a broken treadmill. So I worked out in a downtown fitness center instead. Breakfast was uneventful. This is not as much a dislike as it is a missing opportunity to surprise guests with something new.

  We encountered a significant reservation issue during our stay in Philadelphia. Initially, we booked with Sonder, the previous owner of this property, and fully paid for our stay back in 2023. Sonder later sent us an upgrade notice to The Heid, another nearby property, but neither Booking.com nor Locale North Broad appeared to be informed. After having to check-in again, my credit card was charged multiple times by Locale. Despite several attempts to get answers (there is no reception, and the only way to reach someone is online), we eventually figured out what happened and received a full refund. In the meantime, this situation completely ruined our stay, as we thought we had been scammed, which negatively impacted our travel experience.
