My room. The hotel restaurant and my first 3days stay. It was great until day 4.

Jodie, the rude, racist, unprofessional front desk clerk. She refused to give me a receipt of my room charges, yelling put on a scene. Refused to do her job toward this frequent customer who stays often at this location frequently on business and family occasions. She refused to provide a manager denied there was one on duty, when I asked for one, ignored my request until I call him hotline spoke to a General Manager (after Jodie denied my request for the corporate number) . Corporate executive called Susan the Manager there on duty and only then did it get my request done as well as my complaint response. Susan at first didn't want to acknowledge the blatant racism but then stated that the hotel wanted me to know this was in Fact intolerable and unprofessional and was not condoning and she would be dealing with Jodie, who was a first class Karen on full display that was observed by fellow hotel guests that commented that they were appalled and stood squarely with me over Racism. Joliet Illinois is my hometown and I have never had this occurrence in my 62 years of life being born and raised in Joliet Illinois The manager stated she was extremely sorry profusely apologize but I am writing this to ensure No one no matter race. Ethnicity. Origin of country ever have to deal with Jodie AKA Karen. I need to Express that I was in town for the funeral of my immediate family and I had to on my worst day deal with Jodie racist behind.
