While there is direct access to the sea from the property, it may present a slight challenge for non-swimmers or children. However, a nicer beach is within walking distance, though it's more rocky than sandy. Although the house lacks air conditioning, each room is equipped with a fan, and the temperatures have been quite comfortable for sleeping, with no humidity issues. The house is very clean, well-equipped, and has everything you need. A touch of renovation to update the windows and screens could be beneficial. The owner, George, lives in a separate unit downstairs and is incredibly friendly and helpful. He loves tending to the garden, keeping everything beautifully maintained, and we had some lovely conversations with him.”

  Location was great for what we needed. There was plenty of room and good facilities. Fantastic that the laundry facilities worked as so many other places don't have working facilities. Beds were comfortable and we had a good supply of towels. Owner messaged me direct to say anything less that a 10 rating is a bad review which this isn't. The rwting I feel is fair. The house is far from perfect but if you want somewhere comfortable, spacious and quiet for a few nights, then it is ideal.

  We had to contact the owner to get the door code which should have been sent prior to our arrival. Also had to chase up the WiFi code. The house is very spacious but shows signs of its age all over. I get it is an old house butnit really does show it. Floorboards in stairway creak horrendously to the extent that anyone will get woken by someone going upstairs. Not, sure if it is a common thing in American homes but the house badly needs an upstairs bathroom. Bedroom doors also need shaven as they don't shut without a bit of force and then it takes a real effort to open them which isn't great when kids get up in the middle of the night.

  The facility is clean and the front desk staff and friendly. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were plentiful.

  Located at the end if the strip so not a lot around it. Tired looking, if you want to use the pool and need shade there are no free options and renting the type of chairs with shade are more expensive than the hotel rooms.
