    - “We travel a lot and we usually stay in wonderful hotels. But this hotel is at the top of a very long list. From the moment you step through the doors to see the lobby waterfall you realize you are someplace very special. The hotel decor is gorgeous; every single place you look it is perfect. Which is fitting as so are each and everyone of the staff. And the food - it is literally the only hotel I've ever been when several people at the same time were taking photos of the breakfast buffet with its huge and perfect display of food for every palate. The food is so fine that we arranged for a special custom Japanese dinner one evening complete with a violin player in a private dining room. It was as great an experience as you could have anywhere. There is even a top-end laundry available which was really welcome after a month of travelling. Our room (Room 477) was perfect: comfortable, luxe, quiet. My friend and I actually went to our knees on the hallway carpets to see if the gold had been sprinkled on top of the woven art or woven in. (You'll have to see for yourself). We stayed here 3 nights but I'd had to book each night separately (in advance) as our plans changed as a result of the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The hotel handled this with their usual grace and made certain that we had the same 2 rooms each of the 3 nights so we wouldn't have to move luggage. For a marvellous experience, stay here if there is a room available!”

      I have to separate the facility itself from the situation I run in. The hotel itself is not bad, you get what you pay for. Nothing special and not a disaster, ok for a short stay.

      I have booked this hotel for 2 nights on 2 separate bookings on Booking.com . When arrived there they found my booking which I was already charged for by Booking.com, the person at the counter said he cannot check me in because the card Booking.com gave them (their card) did not work. So they cannot check me in for my stay which I already have paid to Booking.com . Long story short - I was not let to get my room there. To say it was extremely disappointing experience is the least. The hotel did not offer any other options despite I showed them my payment confirmation. Did not say - hey, lets give you a room and sort this in the morning, or get another room here, we will refund you when we sort this thing out with Booking. Nothing. This is how much they trust Booking.com . I asked if all I have is to walk away and find another place - clerks confirmed - yes, we cannot check you in. Great! Meantime I tried to reach Booking.com Customer support through their app. Got response - we will get back to you in 24 hrs. I called their Customer support number, robot asks to enter the booking reference number, and nothing further happens, tried many times. So I had to find another place for the stay, and pay quite a bit more. Remember, I paid my room already in the Red Roof Ames hotel. Ok, in the morning I saw that my next nights booking was cancelled by Red Roof Ames hotel. Just like that. Send them a message to explain the reason- nothing. In the evening came to this hotel and asked why they have cancelled my stay for second night as it was separate booking - they said we did not, and they cannot help. That's it. I asked if any free rooms at all there - yes they are. Can I book one - yes. How difficult is that to propose to a customer who still wants to stay?... Some days later Booking.com comes back on my complaint and says - you had to to contact us when you had a problem, not after a day or two we cannot help you anymore. Pathetic customer service, all I can say!

      We had a big and quiet room, big comfortable beds and bathroom. We only stayed there for one night, so I can not say much more about this motel. Would stay there again.

      The location was not far off from most of the attractions. A mile or 2 away, making it easy to walk.

      This is a place where Customer service went to die. Being there for 4 days there were only 3 employees that I would say were friendly and courteous. I pre paid for breakfast, but was charged additionally on my bill, and the staff knew it was prepaid, since my room number was on the list they were given. There was no soap in the shower when I arrived, trying to get guest services on the phone took about 30 minutes, and then they only brought tiny bars of soap and did not change out the body wash. Trying to order room service was just as bad, no answer on the phone whatsoever. Ended up going down to the restaurant, only to observe an empty restaurant and 4 staff members just hanging around. I will not return to this place again.

      Room was dark and uninviting. No kettle provided. No drinking water. The bathroom was not very clean, the shower water pressure was poor. The shampoo bottle was empty. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Parking was expensive $22 per day.

      Spacious apartment and good facilities and great location.

      Quite a few holes in the walls, towel rail pulled off and holes filled with filler. Quite sparsely furnished and a couple of warnings for $500 fine if you unplugged the router or checked out late. Not the most attractive of buildings and the rooftop pool is no larger than my garden pond.

      Refusing early check-in when we arrived 30min before. Swimming pool was closed but they did not notify in booking.com and Ice machine in our floor (2nd Floor) was not working.

      Too much noise. Traffic from outside and city life noise was too high. Windows needs a replacement. Also soundproofing from the other floor needs to be improved.
