Easily the best experience I’ve had in a hotel in customer service ever. Sure it helps we were upgraded to the palace from the tower, but it’s the little things that makes this place special. Never ending refills on snacks. Yea and water in the rooms. A turn down service in 2024! My son was even given a free Taj teddy bear thing to complement his own teddy when they made the beds! It’s a luxury to find a hostel with a kitchen you can use in India, and being Mumbai the most expensive city in the country as far as I know, especially the neighbourhood where the hostel is located, it makes a difference. When I was there there were mainly Indian guests living in the hostel, but besides not having much of a traveller vibe, it was fine and also one girl living there was speaking very good English and she’s been very helpful.

The staff across the board, from the reception to the bell boys were extremely hospitable and sweet. The rooms were a good size and extremely clean. We got a great deal and I would 100% say that it was value for money. In fact, it was a steal.
