It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants. The hot tubs were a great bonus. They upgraded us for free to have a private bathroom.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. Excellent! They dry or warm your cloths. Nice place. Good good. Great breakfast
