Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. The location, the welcome and the design/feeling at the Hotel was exemplary. Very friendly staff greeting us and a warm, comfortable vibe in the lobby area made us feel at home quickly. We had a nice room on the 1st floor that was super cozy and nicely decorated - bed was very nice to sleep on :) Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delicious.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Arnarstapi Hotel offers accommodation in Snæfellsbær. The Cliffs of Arnarstapi and the village port are just a few minutes' walk away. These units were interesting to stay in -- very comfy and BIG windows! We were glad they had curtains as the sunlight was intense. The area around the hotel was awesome for going on short and scenic walks. There is a restaurant on the property and that was a nice place for dinner. I don't think there were many other options. We also had breakfast there too.

A lonely place with an excellent restaurant and a historical ambience, good for exploring Snaefellsnes and the peninsula. Walking, hiking, a beautiful waterfall just across the valley, visible from the lounge, the ocean nearby, good for a trip watching northern lights and generally a very quiet and comfortable resting place. Very helpful staff.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. staff are very friendly. we were forced to stay one more night because roads are closed due to weather condition. we asked the staff a lot of questions and they are very helpful to address our concerns. hotel manger is also helpful on this matter. very appreciate.
