Vogelkopf is a young resort nestled within a mangrove forest, with a jetty that extends out to a diverse and well kept house reef, at which we saw a dugong, trumpet fish, banner fish, clown fish, giant clams, and were also told you could see dolphins and turtles at the right time. The sunsets were outstanding and you could hear the songs of Imams echoing across the water (although the resort itself was protected from this noise). Our room was spacious and had great air conditioning. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. Vogelkopf is well furnished, and exactly like the pictures. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and ended up staying twice. The owners were very welcoming and helped organise us with a scooter, tour company and scuba dive group. Brezel was a great host and kindly helped us with phone difficulties, providing us with an SD card and aiding with international transfers. Corwyn and Pricilia also drove us into town to explore the local market and fresh produce and also kindly dropped us at the ferry at the end of our stay. Also, Frengklin is a fantastic chef and we always looked forward to our meals, which were included in the cost. This is was the best food we had in Raja Ampat. Special mention to staff Raka and Hadya, who had excellent spoken English and made us feel welcome.

Wow, where to begin? We didn't have much expectations coming to Terimakasih, but the stay completely exceeded any expectation we could have formed. The pictures on booking don't do the property justice; the cabins, view, restaurant, general facilities were all excellent. The staff was so friendly, and always ready to help. They cleaned the cabin daily and we got banana fritters as snack in the afternoon (still dreaming about them). It was so relaxing in the hammock on the porch, and it wasn't hot with the breeze from the ocean. It was my happy place for a small week. The house reef was colourful and full of fish. In the evening we saw bioluminesence around the cabin in the water. As far as homestays go- this one outshines them (speaking for experience). I'd rather you didn't book so there will always be a place for me, but I understand if you do based on this review :) It has all the ingredients for a wonderful vacation. Thanks, Mario + team.

Andy's place was amazing, especially the panorama view from the over water villa!! We consider it to be even better than Maldives :) Also, he provides the tastiest meals ever, we both agree that it was the best food we ever had in Indonesia. Also appreciate the private western-style bathroom, which was always spotlessly clean. We absolutely love our stay at Nyande and hope to be back when Andy finishes setting up his dive shop. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay!!

I would like to say firstly it’s all about the people that make this a superb Homestay. Ringo, Indra and the whole team is what makes this place special. This is truly a 5** homestay and the best I stayed in Raja Ampat out of 4 different locations. Fantastic and new bungalows with all facilities, modern shower and clean bathrooms enough for every guest. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere in the whole homestay and woooooowwww, the food is the best I had in all Raja Ampat. Healthy with many options and they can adjust to your needs. But again, the staff and people is what make this place extra special with all their help support advice and offerings they have. A little paradise in Raja Ampat! Aron and his family are very good host, super friendly and always willing to help. A smile always around. In other reviews I read there are not activities and actually if you are a bit adventurous, not 100 mtrs swimming from there, you can snorkel and you will find turtles, sharks and a beautiful coral reef around. Be prepared to be connected with nature, lot of birds and very tasty and generous portions of food. Honestly the food is very, very nice 🙏🏼🤩🫶🏼 Thanks Aron and family, and a big kiss to little Louise🥰😘

Terletak 6 menit jalan kaki from Pantai Saprokren, Raja Ampat Eco Lodge menawarkan akomodasi dengan taman, teras, dan layanan kamar untuk kenyamanan Anda. I can’t even describe how much we loved this place. First, and the most important thing is that this is truly an eco lodge. Not only by name, but by actual actions and solutions the owner has implemented. I have never seen such wisdom and dedication when it comes to running place like that. You should come here to at least pick up Jack’s brain. He’s such an inspiration! Other than that, we have had the best food experience over there. We are vegan and they catered to our needs soo well. We could even pick the plants from their garden that we wanted to have in our meals. That was amazing! The lodge itself is very spacious, clean, has ensuited bathroom and overall is charming and beautiful. The whole place is run by amazing people, not only Jack but his entire family and staff members. Thank you so much for having us! We will definitely be back someday 😊
