Really enjoyable stay. We were made to feel really welcome and the room was super, with a comfy four poster bed and large separate bathroom. The room was really clean with lovely decor. We loved the small bar area downstairs with a roaring fire. Also had a three course dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. Food was more than a cut above normal pub fayre (think smaller, beautifully presented portions and very high quality ingredients)- for example I had guineau fowl. All the food was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. To cap it off, we were offered walking maps and walked to Chipping Camden and Dover's Hill direct from the Hotel - with the offer of being picked up if we got lost!

The apartment was so cute and interesting. Staff was so friendly, helpful and professional. My kids, 10 and 12 yes, loved our room and the fact the pool table was right outside the room. we had such a great stay and can’t wait to go back to Crown Hotel. The location was perfect for our Cotswold Trip. There was plenty of parking. we have one regret and that was not having dinner there. It smelled so good and we were told it was delicious. Thank you so much, Crown Hotel, for adding to our beautiful adventure through the Cotswolds.
The Old Court is located near the centre of Witney and is a good location to explore the surrounding areas, Cotswolds, Blenheim etc... The room was comfortable with reasonable facilities and the bathroom was clean. The Hotel is linked to a Nepalese restaurant which was very enjoyable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food was very good and very reasonable. The breakfast was a basic choice but was tasty and severed promptly. There is off road parking but the spaces are limited, first come first serve!
Cirencester
We stayed in a very generously sized studio apartment. Separate kitchen, bathroom with bath & shower, everything very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Decor was modern and clean throughout the buildings. The property is well kept and borders the lake with lovely walks, access to watersports and would be a great base to explore the Cotswolds. At the edge of Cirencester and not far from Bristol if you like shopping. Spa, restaurant and bar on site. Free parking.
Great location for the Cotswolds. The clue is in the name of the Hotel... It is the Gateway. Not posh or chintzy, just Proper comfy relaxed place to be. Especially when the open log fire was stoked. No nonsense caring team who all work extremely well together, which does give confidence to all the guests. The chefs know how to prepare and cook a real Full English, probs one of the best we have had. The evening meals are equally good. Would we re visit....You bet.
We enjoyed our stay at the Chester House, just a block from the waterway that is the centerpiece of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds. We especially appreciated its dedicated parking area, since we arrived in a rental car on a day quite crowded with tourists and no clue where to park. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the center, but also well-situated for walking around the quaint town and enjoying its charm. The breakfast was lovely.
Burford
I have always wanted to stay at the Lambs Inn in Burford, as we have been to the Cotswolds in the past. I remember walking by the hotel and peaking in the window and seeing a lovely room, thinking to myself . . . “oh how lovely!” Reality wasn’t disappointing! 🥰. I love the beautiful, charming, mix of old world European structure with modern day comforts. The mixture was bucolic and inviting. The staff was very nice and helpful.
We were walking the Cotswolds way and Stonehouse Bespoke Hotel was just off the Route. The Hotel could be accessed via the Gardens from the canal, which meant you did not need to walkalong the busy road. The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much. Our room had a lovely view of the garden but was a little dated. The breakfast selection was lovely and very tasty. Our evening meal was beautifully cooked and very nice
First time visiting the Cotswolds and had a great time. Hotel was fantastic, staff vey friendly and made us and our dog feel extremely welcomed. Great base for visiting all of the main destinations in the Cotswolds by car. Surrounded by lovely nature walks, local village of South Cerney nearby and only a short drive into Cirencester. We will defiantly stay at this hotel again and highly recommend to other guests.
The Hotel is in a great location in the Cotswolds perfect for walking or just exploring the beautiful countryside - staff were very warm and friendly and the Hotel facilities were excellent. Our Double Room was very well appointed clean tidy and a great size - King size bed was very comfortable and just the ticket - a superb breakfast started each day perfectly.
Broadway
The hotel is in a perfect central location with secure gated parking at the rear. The hotel itself is quaint and quirky, as an historic building in the cotswolds should be. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were very nice. I can highly recommend The Broadway Hotel.
Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds
A lovely traditional Cotswolds Hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of Stow on the Wold. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and all the expected on suite facilities. The staff were excellent very helpful and polite and a credit to the hotel. The food was very good both at breakfast time and the evening meals.
Wonderful small hotel in a central location in the Cotswolds. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. Had, lunch and dinner at the hotel and meals were all delicious. Staff was excellent - friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms absolutely spotless with lovely decor. An exceptional experience all around and look forward to staying there again sometime.
Burford
The staff at this wonderful 500 year old property were exceptional, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a very good room in the Coach House. We ate both breakfast and dinner on both days of our two night stay and the food and service was very good. We will definitely return to this hotel when next in the Cotswolds
Bourton on the Water
The experience in Broadlands Hotel was exceptional. Carly and the staff are very friendly, polite and made the experience feel like a home away from home. The hotel has an excellent location to visit the surroundings in The Cotswolds. The main restaurants and shops are within walking distance in Borton on the Water.

This is a great place, with an excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and fantastic grounds. Very friendly to EV drivers, arranging for overnight charging. The room we booked was enormous, and the location of the hotel is great to get into Cheltenham or the Cotswolds AONB
Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is compact, feature full stone building in keeping with the Cotswolds town. The rooms, restaurants, bar and leisure areas very comfortable with space to explore both inside and outside in the gardens. My wife enjoyed a spa treatment.
This Hotels strong point is its location, situated in the beautiful Cotswolds town of Stow on the Wold. The parking is superb and the mews room I was in was perfect for my comings and goings. So all that worked well for me. The staff were attentive and pleasant.
Great staff and restaurant . Bar was amazing .. the bartenders made us the best drinks after a long journey. Annie the hotel manager took great care of us - saw to every detail and Adam arranged a private tour to the Cotswolds. It was pure heaven !!
