Eiffel Tower
It doesn’t get much more romantic than gazing out across the city of love with your favourite person in the world. Maybe that’s the reason why hundreds of people drop down on one knee at the top of the tower each year. The dizzying heights and stunning views alone are enough to give anyone butterflies, but a meal at the magical ‘Le Jules Verne’ restaurant might just seal the deal.

Visit near to sunset.
Visit near to sunset. You can take a lift all the way to the top or you can take the stairs to the second level and then a lift all the way to the top (a little cheaper). We did the second option. We stopped at the first level to rest, eat, use the restrooms and just enjoy the overall ambience, the vibe and the music. We met and chatted with other tourists. Then we climbed the stairs to the second floor to take the lift. Bring a sweater! The top can get quite windy and cool. The view is perfect and at sunset the tower lights up and began to sparkle. Beautiful!

We booked our tickets the day before for the second floor in peak time. We were there 20 minutes before and the line was long but it was OK we still got through after our booked time. Have 1 euro or 2 euros for the binoculars.

The Eiffel Tower is always very impressive. I was surprise that the Friday the 14th of June 2024, it closed at 22:45 ! The toilettes closed at 23:00 and so did the RER A to our hotel. The metro did last longer.

Not only will you get to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city, but you'll also gain fascinating insights into the history and engineering marvel behind this iconic structure.

Buy a bottle of wine and get some cheese and crackers. Go in the evening to watch it light up at night. Lots of people will be sitting on the grass with you. Bring a blanket or something to sit on. We were there before the Olympics in May so lots of fences up for the big event. But worth it and so much prettier at night.

The queue is very long to get in even if you have a pre booking. Once up there, the toilets are only available after an other long queue. The best is to go to the tour Montparnasse. From here you have a beautiful view on the tour Eiffel and Paris. It is particularly nice at sun set.

Beautiful apartment in lovely part of Paris. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower and other attractions. Beautiful markets one street away. Concierge service available by telephone were very helpful.
We were wary after reading the reviews (as with all the accom in Paris) but we loved our stay! The hotel is super responsive and helpful in the lead up to the stay. It is in a great location to get around Paris (5 min walk from the nearest metro) and close to the Eiffel Tower and lots of eateries on foot. The room was a good size, modern and quiet, and there is also a little rooftop which we used to have our pastries and coffee while we planned our day.
The property was nicely positioned, could walk to the louvre and arc de triumph - Eiffel Tower required a train but the train station was a 3 min walk away.
The hotel was clean and the bed was comfy.
Lots of good eateries around.
A wonderful, comfortable, clean, cozy hotel. Convenient location - 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. Convenient underground parking, which is very important in Paris. Friendly staff, good breakfasts. We are pleased that we chose this hotel!
The location is excellent and very close to the famous Eiffel Tower (walkable). The room was so nice and clean with the required facilities. Overall, I rate this hotel as an excellent destiny to stay for traveller's who would be visiting Paris. Prof. Rajam, India
Beautiful hotel/ apartment. Excellent value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice continental breakfast.
Excellent location short walk to metros. And easy walking to Eiffel tower and ace de Triomphe. Safe area at night walking with kids to restaurants. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets near by. Would definitely book again. Thank you
Amazing welcome we were far to early but the frontdesk team were very helpful and professional. Loved to location Amazing room overlooking Les Jardin des tuileries, Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay. Just stunning. Room was well appointed and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff catered to our every need.
This hotel is a must stay if you want a true Parisian feel in a boutique style hotel right in the centre of Paris
Cant recommend it enough. Will definitely book there again!!

What guests said about Eiffel Tower:
if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets.
if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets. It is pretty amazing viewing a painting of Napoleon crowning Josephine and the historical significance of this amazing piece of art is explained in the most beautiful artistic voice. Captivating... , not just this one painting the whole museum of priceless treasures. I felt honoured to view this amazing collection. The artifacts are breathtaking. It is amazing riding a double decker bus and wearing a headset. Two trips around the city and you are most familiar with the sights and their historical significance to start your journey. Plaques in doorways and on statue's leave the visitor a good over view of the past. A trip to Versailles again headsets that advise the visitors the past. The streets, the cobblestones the architecture, the open markets and cafe's, the preservation of the past intact is so very amazing to a first time visitor. Paris is exciting! Paris is busy. Paris is steeped in culture and is bigger than life itself. I stood beneath the Eiffel Tower and looked up trying to imagine the past and the men that built this magnificent structure. The residents of Paris make their city come to life. They are proud of their city. Very clean and orderly.

Skip the Louvre & the Champs-Elysees, stroll the Tuilleries...
Skip the Louvre & the Champs-Elysees, stroll the Tuilleries and the Latin Quarter instead, & talk to people, but remember you're in THEIR country so learn some basic French (please, thank you, G'day, G'eve, etc.) - you'll find a lot of people who speak English. Use the Metro and the "river taxi" (that's what I call it, anyway). DO enjoy cafe au lait often at outdoor cafes, look at around and up at the old buildings, take your time and soak it all in. Don't waste money on 4 & 5, or even 3 - star hotels & "fancy" restaurants - see where the most French are eating and try those places. But, I'm biased and fluent in the language. One can "do" Paris in 3 days - Musee d'Orsay, Musee Marmottan (Monets!!!), Sacre Coeur, Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame, and if you must, the Arc de Triomphe, but it's not worth the hassle). Skip Versailles, go to Fountainbleau (you can get a R/T ticket at the Metro station (subway, train, bus). Hotel in the Latin Quarter.

Find all the hidden playgrounds, visit the jardin du luxembourg and budget for carousel rides. A good view of the city can be found at the top of the wheel/roue within the jardin des tuileries rather than queuing for the tour Eiffel or scycraper.
