Great rooms, super friendly room service and impeccable cleanliness. Very good service and very tasty food, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The coffee machine didn't work on one of the days, but they fixed it quickly.

    breakfast was good and very varied, with even some typical brazilian foods. The staff was really friendly and really helpful and treated us very well, and there was a great guided tour offered by the hotel, the views were rlly nice and the juice and coconut water at the hotel bar was cheap. It was also close to a lot of beach bars and restaurants.

    The breakfast was "the best I have had in a hotel", according to my partner. The rooftop pool is excellent. We had a room facing onto Copacabana Beach, which was cool but if we went back we would stay in a different location. The hotel staff were amazing, so helpful and kind.

    The location is excellent for Copacabana & Ipanema is walkable. It’s a cheap and quick taxi to downtown/Centro. Breakfast is good, shower is powerful and bed is comfortable. Seemed good value (£120 GBP per night in May - double room, partial sea view) for the area / standard of the hotel. Good tour options available at front desk. The rooftop bar/pool is nice and the guy who works regularly there is great!

    As per previous review from a couple of nights earlier (that was a dorm, this stay was in a private room), hostel is clean & well located, close to beach, public transport & good (cheap) food/bars. Felt secure. Staff are friendly/helpful. Good budget option.

    Location is great! The staff members are very friendly and helpful. This is the most basic of the Ibis brand hotels but the price is accordingly attractive as a result. My only criticism is the breakfast buffet which is not of a very high quality. The only redeeming item is the fresh fruit selection. The other items are unappetising throughout.

    Nice place stayed in other hotels booked via booking.com with higher ratings which was a no where near as good as this hotel such as Ibis hotel. Breakfast was good enough. Would return for sure.

    Ibis hotel is located inside the Nova America shopping center, place is really safe and it offers all you need for your week and weekend. It is so easy to hire a taxi or uber to meet a customer or just to visit touristic areas in the southern part of RJ. Ibis personel is very firendly and always available to help.
