Located in Bangkok and with Khao San Road reachable within 300 metres, Khao San Social Capsule Hostel provides concierge services, rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The property is set 1.8 km from Grand Palace, 2.8 km from Wat Pho and 4.5 km from Jim Thompson House. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a tour desk for guests. I had an amazing time at Khao San Social Capsule Hostel! While it may not boast the luxuries of some upscale hostels in the area, its social atmosphere made my stay unforgettable. I stayed as well at a fancier hostel in town (one of the best rated once) but found this hostel to be more enjoyable due to the social atmosphere. The daily social hour fosters fantastic connections with fellow travelers, and the offer of daily organized tours adds to the whole experience. The location is conveniently near the major attractions, away from the hustle of Khao San Road, ensures easy access to everything via Grab or scooter. It's also very quiet at night. Highly recommended for an authentic and enjoyable stay in town!

Chinatown, Bangkok
Set in Bangkok and within 2.2 km of Wat Pho, N5 Ratchawong Hostel has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 2.3 km from Wat Saket, 2.7 km from Temple of the Emerald Buddha and 2.9 km from Grand Palace. Jim Thompson House is 3.6 km from the hostel and Bangkok National Museum is 3.6 km away. I've stayed in at least five hostels around Thailand, and this was definitely the best one. Unlike some hostels in Bangkok, this one offers plenty of space inside the rooms and large lockers (I stayed in a 4-bed dorm). The bed and pillow are really comfy, and you have curtains for privacy. The hostel is very clean, with a big kitchen offering free coffee, tea, and biscuits all day. There’s also a rooftop with a great view of Bangkok, and it’s just a 2-minute walk from the pier where you can catch a boat to most tourist spots (from the hostel to IconSiam it was 16 baht and took less than 10 minutes). It’s less than a 10-minute walk to Chinatown, where you can find a variety of food, and a 1-minute walk from a 7-Eleven. The hostel has a lift/elevator, so you won’t have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs, unlike many other hostels in Bangkok. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I know this review is long, but I really wanted to highlight all the good points of this hostel. I've stayed in other hostels where I had to carry my luggage up stairs for three levels and had very little space in the room. I wish I had known about this hostel earlier; it would have saved me a lot of trouble. I will definitely stay here next time.

Cheap and cheerful. Shaheen made me feel very welcome and safe. The place seems to be lived in mostly, not a tourist place. If you just want a cheap room, with easy access to MRT (10mins to Charan 13) then it is good. I've done the hotels in centre of BKK and needed a budget place to sleep this time. Large room. Cheap food and market on site.
Good location, walkable from Makkasan airport rail link station or easy to get a taxi there. Close to night markets and few 7Eleven shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. In female dormitory the bathroom with toilet is directly in the room, so it is convenient and no need to go to other floors, the sink is on the balcony. Bed is hard but comfy, with your own shelf, light and socket, as well as curtains for privacy and light blocking. The hostel is comfortable and safe, in a quiet street, wifi works well. Would stay again!
The location is ideal for exploring Bangkok, especially if you're travelling on a budget and just want somewhere safe to stay at night, get a good sleep and freshen up but want a break from hostels. The staff were friendly and there's a bar and restaurant attached.
Absolute insider. The hostel just opened. Great location, you have a very cheap and authentic food market next door and the BTS and the ferry are a few minutes away. Great stylish hostel with fantastic furnishing. The owner speaks perfect English and knows great activities to do in Bangkok.
Best hostel to stay under budget. Spacious dorms, clean. Washrooms and room . Just beside BTS station to easily accessible. Very nice property
Great location and great staff, definitely the best hostel we ever stayed in! The bed was really spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
The location is excellent, just a walking distance to the MRT station. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and can speak english quite well. The price is quite cheap, good for backpackers / budget traveler.
Picked this as it was between Khao San Road and Mad Monkey Hostel - I’m a backpacker but prefer to stay in a private room, then go to the sociable/party hostel to meet people. They have 24 hour reception so was super safe as a solo female traveller. Hot water, clean sheets, good wifi, complimentary bottle of water in the room and biscuits in the living room.
This was our first stay in Thailand and we were delighted with our room and the facilities. Being a hostel and such good price we didn’t expect much but the room was so lovely, clean and comfortable. Small bathroom but no different to most budget hostels/hotels. It was in a great location, 5 min walk to Kao San road and other attractions but far away enough so that it’s quiet at night. Great little restaurant at the start of the alley to the hostel called KC Homestay, delicious and cheap food.
