Raju was helpful, Mukesh cooked good food, receptionist Salman is always there to help. Highly recommend if you are a female solo traveler!

Stay in an over 100 year old charming building, now a Premium Hostel - where we provide our guests many options, from Dorm Beds to Private Rooms including free Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen , an All Day Cafe in an open terrace stocked with books, board games and musical instruments to match your every mood. Everything was amazing - I had a private room and was like a four star hotel with everything and more one could ask for - the location is insane - three minute walk to Taj and India Gate and the docks for sunrise. I walked to all the monuments - short taxi ride to train station and market nearby. Staff were above and beyond fabulous and on duty 24/7 on reception.

The hostel offers a buffet or vegetarian breakfast. This property was awesome. Extremely clean (especially when compared to other similarly priced hostels we experienced in India), well located, and had everything we needed! The staff was friendly, welcoming and super helpful when we needed laundry done or wanted to order food (which was even delivered to our room!) We tried the dinner our first night since we were too tired to go anywhere after our flights, and I would absolutely recommend it - homemade and delicious. Our private room was super spacious, had cold AC, hot water, great shower pressure, plenty of towels, and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in the past 3 months. It seems like many similarly priced accommodations are often missing at least one of those essentials. Either the hot water doesn’t work or the pressure is low or the bed is too firm or something else like that. The Locomo was a 10/10 in every way for us! I highly recommend this place for a private room at an affordable price point in Mumbai.

The nearest airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Mumbai Airport, 6 km from Kohinoor Dormitory. Great place near the metro. Although it’s right next to the road, you can’t hear the traffic. Great price, not hot in the room. The most important thing about this hostel is the staff, everyone is very friendly and ready to help! Especially Deepak! He helped us a lot. We broke the phone and everyone helped us fix it. He also booked us a bus ticket to Goa.
