Popular points of interest near Barmy Badger Backpackers include Victoria and Albert Museum, South Kensington Underground Station and Royal Albert Hall. The nearest airport is London City Airport, 20 km from the hostel. Barmy Badgers was wonderful. Shout out to Josh at the front desk for being an absolute Pal. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the cozy, comfortable atmosphere. They have a rec room with a large couch, perfect for relaxing or for mingling with some of the other visitors. The staff is fantastic and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, they gave me some pointers regarding places to check out. The kitchen had everything you’d want for a quick light breakfast, nothing overly fancy, but perfectly adequate. The rooms were exactly as described, and I couldn’t find anything to complain about. The location is without question fantastic, just 200m away from the Earls Court train station, and walking distance to a variety of stores, restaurants, and pubs. Like I already mentioned, what made this experience worthwhile were the people. Everyone was incredibly kind and easy to get along with, I had some great conversations with some of the others staying, there was immediately a sense of welcoming hospitality that you don’t unfortunately don’t experience everywhere. I would absolute recommend this place to others and will be staying here again next time I’m in London. Cheers!

Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage provides award-winning budget accommodation in a beautiful Victorian Grade II listed building. The Lodge offers a bar and free Wi-Fi access in public areas, just 2 miles from the West End. The staff was very considerate and emphatic. They did not seem stressed or impatient. I liked the bar because it is nice to have a night cap on the premises. Also, the partiers stayed there and the rooms were quiet. I was really impressed that there was a lift, because I have arthritis and sometimes stairs are a challenge.

I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a youth hostel as a pregnant mum travelling with a toddler, but I would definitely go back! The staff were lovely, the pizza was great, and the room was clean, comfortable, and safe. It was surprisingly quiet for a hostel on a busy street, too!
Great location for T2 easy to get too using the Hoppa - think there are cheaper public buses too, but with all our luggage Hoppa was better for us. Room well sound proofed - didn't hear planes at all. Staff friendly and helpful.
For sure the best hostel I have ever stayed at. It is nice, clean, good vibes, and above all safe! I stayed for one night, so it met my expectations.
The neighbourhood was lovely - there were a lot of little bistros and also cheaper options to grab a bite. We always felt safe and though Earl’s Court is a frequented station, it was never too crowded. The hostel was quiet and clean and the staff was always helpful and kind.
Great location, felt very safe with all women guests Got lucky with no one on the bottom of my bunk Bed sheets very clean and comfy
A beautiful building, staff very friendly and efficient. Communal Areas - Delightful . Dormitory - standard bunk bed with light , electric points and charging points. Clean . Wonderful Continental Breakfast ( £6.50 charge). I will definitely be back , felt completely safe and in a good residential area. Fantastic Hostel .
one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in..friendly staff, feels safe, clean, spacious dorms and great location..
Great atmosphere; all staff are very friendly, keep the bathrooms and kitchen areas spotless and do their best to accommodate your needs. They also regularly organise evening events at cheap bars/clubs across London, so if you're solo-travelling, you'll have tons of opportunities to meet new people. Definitely, the best hostel I've ever stayed in; would 100% consider staying there the next time I'm in London!
Stayed here few times. Good , convenient, great location, cheap, clean, modern, nice breakfast, coffee and bar options, laundry . Yoga classes on Thursdays One of the best hostels
This is about as cheap as you can stay in central London without going down the backpacker's-hostel-with shared dormitory route. Perfect location opposite King's Cross St Pancras, comfy bed, nice friendly bloke in reception, no complaints at all.
