Beacon House Bunks is located in Bridlington, within 32 km of Scarborough Castle and 32 km of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. What a fantastic set up. Everything you need . Showers and kitchen immaculate with tea coffee milk juice supplied. The beds are very comfy. The owners are so nice and welcoming(so are their dogs). Will 200% stay here again.

Boasting a shared lounge, Blue Room Hostel Newquay is set in the centre of Newquay, 500 metres from Tolcarne Beach. The owner of the hostel was extremily nice and helpful. There was breakfast included and the position of it is very good, near to the beach and to the bus/train station.

Set within 43 km of St James' Park and 44 km of Newcastle Train Station, Newbrough Bunkhouse offers rooms in Hexham. Nice and clean place in the peaceful country side close to Hexham and some of the main sights along Hadrian's Wall. Nick was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was a quiet week so had the whole place to myself, but everything I needed was at the hostel/bunkhouse. Basic breakfast available for a cheap price, good WiFi, beautiful nature surroundings and quiet so I could get a good night's sleep. Good budget accommodation to stay for a few nights. Hexham is a 17 minutes drive with bus, the bus came only every second hour, but was always on time, so getting back and forth was relatively easy.

In the Lake District village of Elterwater, the independent Elterwater Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, with a communal lounge and dining area. I had a great stay at Elterwater Hostel! The staff was extremely friendly & welcoming and the Hostel itself is a lovely place. There is a big common and dining room, which is very cozy. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. It is also very clean (haven't seen anything comparable in any other hostel so far), so are the rooms and bathroom facilities. All over, I would really recommend Elterwater Hostel and would love to come back anytime! Also the breakfast is really good! The Hostel is also very well located. That means if you aren't traveling by car you can still easily reach many hiking destinies, which are either directly around the corner or just a bus ride away. There is a bus stop within two minutes walking distance of the Hostel.

Less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Penrith, Wayfarers Independent Hostel provides comfortable accommodation to Lake District visitors. The room, bathroom and shared kitchen are extremely clean. The check-in process is nice, friendly hosts and the room (1) is bathing in light. The shower is heavenly. The area is peaceful and you are in no time in the centre.

Surrounded by lovely greenery in the heart of vibrant Keswick centre, YHA Keswick is just a 10-minute walk from Lake Derwentwater. It features a restaurant and self-catering kitchen. Kitchen excellent. Really welcoming on arrival

Located in Wooler, 26 km from Bamburgh Castle, Wooler Hostel and Shepherds Huts provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Friendly relaxed youth hostel. Everything was clean and well stocked.
