I didn't think it will be a room in hostel-like dorm, generally I am not staying in hostels (just don't like). But this... This was cutest, amazing comfiest bed I slept on. They have separate rooms and dorm-like (but separated by half-wall) sleeping places. Clean bathroom, nice japanese-like interion, smell of wood. I literaly fall in love with it.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This is a lovely, small establishment, perfect for a stop-over in Chumphon.
It's incredibly clean, well-maintained, and in a nice safe location.
The mini-bar is also super cheap, which is handy because the nearest 7/10 is a 15 minute walk away.
I spent three nights here. I really liked the hostel. It's right on the beach, with a view of the neighbouring island. The food is delicious, there's a family atmosphere and I felt safe at all times. The city centre is only about 5 minutes away by scooter. I would check in here again at any time.
This is a great little budget hotel not far from the rail station. Operated by a very hard working lady with some English language skills but also a lightning finger on the translate app on her phone. I was catching a late night train south. It's cheap enough to pay for a night and leave at 10pm for the easy walk, via loads of great street food options, to your train. the room was spotless as was the bathroom. If you're on a tight budget, back packing, it's a lot better than a multi bunk hostel......
Salsa hostel is one of the best hostel ever, you can get the best Info all about what you need, thanks a lot , I can just recomment it and I am sure that you will never regret)))

- Room was clean and comfortable
- Bathrooms were clean and there were plenty so you never had to wait
- Great location, walking distance to everything in Chumphon including the street food!
- Hostel can book transfers and ferries to the islands for you
- Light and power plug at each bed, bottom bunks had curtains. Lockers available for your valuables
- Great AC
This place is perfect for staying overnight before reaching the plane at the airport. The bed was incredibly hard and we found some dead ants in it when we went to sleep. No covers on the blankets...
But very cheap stay(2400 bath for 3 cabins, one night and breakfast).
We had the owner taking us to the airport next morning(200 bath/cabin).
