Cafe & Guest House Nagonoya, hotel in Nagoya

A slightly unusual small inn in a downtown shopping street near Nagoya Station. Opened in April 2015.

The futon was very comfortable and the space was overall very quiet. All the shared facilities were clean and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, as the local endoji has several charming restaurants, cafes, and other local businesses. I highly recommend seeing a kabuki play at the theater next door, as it is fun, modern, good value for money, welcoming to tourists, and you don't need to speak Japanese to understand it. There's also a FamilyMart down the street for convenience and you're near two different metro lines to get anywhere you want to go.

Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, hotel in Nagoya

Open from June 2015, Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel offers modern accommodation, just a 7-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Guests can enjoy various beverages at the on-site bar or cafe.

I loved that they maintained shared bathrooms very clean. It was helpful that they had a decent kitchen with kitchen tooks ad basic seasonings. The staffs were very nice and helpful, and I got to meet other travellers which I made my trip much better than I expected.

We have a good experience during stay in Usatsuno Osu. The hosts were very nice. The room is clean and comfortable. The host mentioned that keeping quiet in the sleeping area.but some of the guests talked on the phone loudly in the morning. That's annoying.

2023年6月開業 サカエ ゲストハウス, hotel in Nagoya

Situated in Nagoya, 1.1 km from Oasis 21, 2023年6月開業 サカエ ゲストハウス features air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace.

At 20m from a subway station and close to a lot of things worth seeing in Nagoya. The capsule is really wide and comfy and you have a lot of space to put your luggages in. The staff is nice and hardworking. Common space is cosy, not always really clean but never dirty. Free laundry if you're staying 3 days or more. I booked for 5 nights more after staying for 3 days there.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location, very helpful people, I had a bunk bed which was like a capsule, they have a washing machine and dryer to use for a small fee, I was able to drop my bag off, check in was easy, the bed and everything was super clean. They run a cafe as well and I was sad that I didn't leave enough time to eat here. The location is fantastic, just 15 minutes from Nagoya castle I highly recommend visiting. Loads of shops and restaurant around. Looked like a great place to hang out.

Great location as the hostel is very close to Nagoya station. We really loved the feature of opening a "window" to your neighbour/partner, which you can request while booking 2 capsules. It was really clean and the showers and toilets worked great. Great value for money!

Great location! Convenient near the station, super cheap price for how nice the rooms were! Genuinely exceeded our expectations, lovely clean rooms with a bunch of movie options. My bro and I found a really nice katsu place just down the road which was great.

During my stay at Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, I was grateful that I was placed near the window, providing ample space for luggage organization. The reliable wifi in the pantry area was convenient for staying connected. Above all, the exceptional hospitality of Icchan, the owner, made me feel welcomed and at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and personal touch.

One of my best hostel experiences in Japan! The staff was super nice and made me feel at home. The cafe downstairs was very cozy and the staff there was also very nice. The rooms were comfortable, but there weren't a lot of beds per room (I had 2 bunk beds) so if you make good friends with your roommates, it's almost like you're back at summer camp. The kitchen was well equipped and was a nice meeting place to talk to other guests. Thank you for having me!
