    One the best hostels I’ve been so far, and I travel quite often. The familiar atmosphere, the coziness of the living room where they played EuroCup matches. The staff is friendly and you’ll have them cooking with you in the kitchen or just chilling in the common areas. I’ve worked for a couple of days, great Wi-Fi and even if you leave your stuff unattended, nobody touches it.

    1.Clean bedsheets and comfortable bed.The mattress was really of good quality,not too soft not too hard. 2.Curtains for each bed to maintain privacy. 3.Receptionist are friendly. 4.15 mins walk to the city centre,10 mins walk from the train station. 5.Shops, restaurants nearby to the hostel. 6.The best budget stay in the entire York city. 7.Housekeeping staff clean the room and the bathroom each day.

    Exceptionaly comfortable bed and lovely linen and towels. Great location to walk into York. Safe secure parking. Good blinds on windows for a good night's sleep. Local info and access instructions great. Coffee machine with pods.

    Great location for what we needed, visiting family and easy to park, plenty of room on the road. Comfortable bed and good sound proofing as couldnt hear other residents apart from the front door but didn't affect our sleep. Although I have put some negative comments please accept as recommendations on how to make this accommodation exceptional!

    Wonderful and kind host, great location. Instructions were perfect, felt very safe and they went above and beyond. The bathroom is spacious and clean and they offer tea in the kitchen. The bed was soft and warm. They even have a washer and dryer. Could not more highly recommend Vas!

    Great location, nice friendly welcome. For the price in terms of other establishments in centrtral York, it was value for money. Rooms and facilities are dated but were as expected when booking. Basic but clean with kettle in room and lots of coffee and tea available. If on a budget and you understand this is a budget establishment, it's perfect. Cheap and cheerful.

    Very family-like, beyond friendly staff. Alot of the customers are residential which gives it a homely like aura. Everyone looks out for eachother. As far as hostels go, this is by far the best and safest. Great value for money, perfect for cheap reliable business trips.
