This is a wonderful albergue just 2km off of the Primitivo. We chose it to break up the walk into Lugo, and it was a brilliant choice.
The staff are lovely, and the accommodation, whilst rustic, it is a real taste of rural Spain.
Of note, the evening meal was absolutely fantastic. We didn't stay for breakfast, but I am sure that it would have been as equally as good.

Great hostel that was nice and quiet and right beside the 100km Camino marker.
The staff member was lovely and spoke acceptable English. The hostel has a nice lay out and they provide towels for free. The beds are very wide, which was great and had privacy curtains.

Really great location in a beautifully renovated old building right next to the Roman wall. Single beds, not bunks in the dorms. Very cool bar on site (but doesn't serve breakfast I think).

Location was good, albeit above a bar. Works for some. Not for me. It was a little loud till late. The bed was comfy, there was a blanket available. You get a bottom and top sheet, albeit paper; and a locker for small things. Each bed has a light and a privacy blind.

Beautiful albergue situated right next to the Camino path. Personnel is very friendly, the common rooms are spacious, comfortable and with beautiful stone walls. The total places are not too many so the place is not overcrowded, and there are enough bathrooms for everyone. Beautiful garden and handy outdoor sink to wash clothes. Nice and well cooked dinner with different options

Very surprised how well I slept in a room of 130 people. I put on my sleep mask and earplugs and fell asleep before the lights were turned off and stayed asleep without any disturbance. Staff was nice, bathrooms good and laundry good. Great view.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I was given a nice, comfortable single bed, not a bunk bed. All the facilities - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge - were spacious, new, clean and comfortable. The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and gave me a good explanation of the hostel's facilities. This should have been a great hostel with a perfect score of 10, but...
A warm welcome in this hostel on the Primitivo. We were in a mixed dormitory of 10 people with 2 bathrooms outside the room. There is a small bar and restaurant. They have their own font with drinkable water.
There is a nice outside area and good sized restaurant. Good evening meal and breakfast.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Right on the Camino Primitivo.
The location is perfect. The hostel is really clean. Our possessions felt safe in the locker at the end of our bed. There was a small kitchen to be able to prepare some food if needed. Our check in process was smoothe. The price is very cheap, so while I do have a few negative things to say, I would say it is still okay value for money.
Best hostel on the camino. Clean, comfortable, well looked after, spacious, kitchen, fridge, quiet location, great beds with curtains, amazing friendly accommodating staff.
Impecably clean throughtout
Great kitchen faciluty. Perfect location.

Great stay in Lugo..one of the best hostels over 36 days of walking the Camino.

Great location and beautiful hostel at a reasonable price. Perfect for a moment of respite during the Camino or to stay and visit the city. Hosts were friendly and helpful! Complimentary tea made mornings and nights nicer : )
