Location is OK but expect a good 45mins walk (1 mile) into the center. Longer time to walk due to uneven pavement (holes, tiles missing or walking along the road as a scooter I parked). Internet connection is fast. Plenty of hot water however it takes time for it to come out. Fridge is now and so is the water dispenser however it is not cold. Breakfast is OK and is delivered to your seating outside but expect to book your food night before and so the time. Supermarket in front of the property and a few Warungs. But most of Ubud is wannable upscale restaurants with western prices.

Definitely choose the Ranggen if you want to stay in Ubud! We had the best stay here at the Ranggen. The location was a 5 minute walk away from everything but was so quiet and relaxing. The owners organised trips for us to do our ATV driving and water rafting and it was so well organised and helped relieve some stress of us. The rooms were so comfortable and so modern. The breakfast was lovely and the options were great! The owners are the best part of Ranggen. They are so lovely and always there if you need any help or advice. Our experience in Ubud would not have been as amazing if we did not stay here. We totally recommend and if we are ever in Ubud again, we will definitely stay here.

Ayu and Wayan were excellent hosts, catering to our every need. Location is excellent, only a 10 minute ride north of the centre. The swimming pool offers the perfect escape after a busy day navigating the streets of Ubud. Ayu and Wayan also offer scooter rental at a very reasonable price.
