Located less than 5 minutes walk to 3rd Street Promenade and the Santa Monica State Beach path, this Santa Monica modern beach-side hotel features a restaurant, bar, and lounge. The hotel is in a great location, and we had a higher floor, so we enjoyed the view of the beach as well. The breakfast on the top floor was also perfect. We stayed at the hotel for only one night and went straight to the airport after checkout in the morning. At the airport, my son realized he had forgotten his Rolex watch (a gift for his 18th birthday) in the hotel room. He had taken it off and left it in the bed linens the night before and they remained there until we left. He called the hotel from the airport, where he was connected to housekeeping. They informed him that the room had not yet been checked since our departure and that they would send someone immediately and call us back shortly. In less than five minutes, we received a call saying the watch had been found, so I quickly left the airport and returned to the hotel, where the watch was waiting at the reception. By the time I returned to the airport, boarding had already begun, but we made it in time. Huge thanks to the hotel staff for their honesty, willingness, and speed in helping us.

Located off I-10, this hotel is just 3 miles from Montana Avenue, Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Beach. Accomodation was perfect. Staff were very polite and helpfull. Breakfast ok. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is in good area, where we felt safe. Parking ok.

This Santa Monica oceanfront hotel boasts 2 on-site restaurants and has a hydrotherapy spa tub in each room. It offers an outdoor pool and hot tub. 3rd Street Promenade is 5 minutes’ walk away. The whole hotel was so beautiful. The location right on the beach was a dream. We hired bikes right out the front and the kids loved the beach activities. The restaurants were delicious and the rooftop pool and spa was stunning, one of our favourite ways to end the day. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved everything about this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Just 25 km from Los Angeles, Viceroy Santa Monica is ideally situated, just steps to the ocean and a short walk to the pier. We were very impressed with this hotel. It was modern, clean and inviting. From the moment we stepped onto property we were treated professionally. The staff at the door were always friendly and polite. We were offered a glass of wine at check in which was a really nice touch. We were offered an upgrade from partial view to full ocean view room (with a very small cost to pay) and we weren’t disappointed! It was fabulous. The lobby was relaxing and beautifully decorated with various art pieces. Very comfortable chairs. Our room was excellent and bed very comfortable. Shower pressure was good (however was over a bath). I loved that you could open the ranch sliders and sit looking out at the ocean. We were able to get a late checkout which was great. We dined at the hotel restaurant several times and had coffee daily. All food was delicious. I recommend the fromage board and the crispy Brussel sprouts were delicious. Only a very short walk to the Santa Monica pier and beach. We couldn’t fault anything at this hotel. Would gladly stay again. Thanks!
