Hotel in Dhiffushi
Facing the beachfront, Stone Hotels Dhiffushi offers 4-star accommodation in Dhiffushi and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and shared lounge. Absolutely stellar experience! From the moment we reached the island, the staff were all very warmed and came to welcome us. As our flight was quite late, we reached the hotel at night and they let us check in and deal with the paperwork the next morning. Small details but it definitely helped us to settled and rested right in smoothly. The room was exactly as pictured, and in really top notch condition. A lot of attention and creative thought was given to design the entire space, making every corner looking so aesthetically pleasing. The price point was yet another impeccable one, definitely value for money. As it was quite new, the space doesn’t feel overpopulated but not cold. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations, and we felt very well taken care of. Definitely highly recommend!
Hotel in Dhigurah
Set 100 metres from Dhigurah North West Beach, Dhiguveli Breeze offers 3-star accommodation in Dhigurah and has a garden, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Dhigurah Island is amazing, it is paradise. For us, this was by far the most impressive beach we ever saw. The water is cristal clear, the sand is immaculate white and the nature surrounding all of this is stunning. It's hard to get better then this. The hotel is very close to the beach, 3 mins walk. Also the road to the beach is great, with lot's of tropical vegetation. The area is extremely safe, you can comfortable walk around during night or during early morning. A very important plus of this hotel, is that it's restaurant is open from 07:30-21:00. Most of the other good restaurants are opened from 07:30-09:00 & 12:00-14:00 & 19:00-21:00 so they are way more restrictive. We travelled with a 3 year old child, so for us it was great that we could eat whenever it fitted our schedule. The food is great, it has an a la carte menu. You will find something for every taste, we really enjoyed the food here. Another highlight are the fresh juices: watermelon, mango, pineapple, orange to name a few. Fresh and extremely tasty. The rooms are very clean, large bathroom, modern aircon. You get fresh bathroom and beach towels every day. You have a mini market, 1 min from the hotel + 2-3 other good restaurants extremely close if you want to try some other restaurants. The staff, especially the ones working at the restaurant are great, really really great. Reception staff is good as well, responsive and helpful every time you need them. This is not a resort, so you should not expect a resort-like experience. However this is a great hotel and it provides you everything that you need for a great stay. And the beach, the beach on this Island is paradise.
Hotel in Bodufolhudhoo
Facing the beachfront, Paguro Seaview offers 3-star accommodation in Bodufolhudhoo and has a garden, shared lounge and restaurant. Main takeaway from this review: Paguro is extraordinary! Staff is trying hard to fulfill all your requests and needs. I am talking about all persons in the hotel: Mohamed, waiters, cooks, room cleaning... Never experienced such warm and helpful approach before, they all deserve more than 10 point rating! Details: Paguro staff was waiting for us at port, took our luggage by tuktuk. At the hotel: we were heartly welcomed by Mohamed, drink, simple check-in procedure. Our rooms (facing the sea) were beautiful, clean, spatious enough, with large windows, so you can see the sea and beach from bed! Worth paying extra for them. We got bottle of water every day and also another for lunch and dinner. Food is excellent, we had full board (B+D: buffet, lunch: from menu), and we were surprised of the variety of meals every day, you get fish, beef, chicken for meat; and many kinds of rice, pasta, potato (roasted, mash, fries) Excellent soups (fish, chicken, tomato), tasty deserts, fruits, salads. For breakfast: youghurts with cereals, juice, pancakes, eggs (5 forms), toast, jam, beans, mushrooms, spreads. Instant coffee is free. They served us also gluten-free pasta! We got much more than we expected! Sea is beautiful - just 15 meters from hotel. Paguro has the best position on the island, it is located directly on bikini beach. Water is clear, sand is white, there are sunbeds for free and trees provide shade. The beach is cleaned every morning from leaves. All day long you can see crabs, marching through sand. In water: you can snorkel in house reef and also swim (thankfully corals are not everywhere). In water you can see all marine species: myriads of fish, sharks (safe), turtles, dolphins, rays (sting and eagle). Some people saw murenas, octopusses. We spotted only 2 lionfish and no jellyfish, but one of us was stung by it - according to hotel staff it is rare - it was healing well. You never get bored :-) If you miss something, you can go for trips.
Hotel in Thulusdhoo
Located in Thulusdhoo, a few steps from Bikini Beach, Samura Panorama Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The owner was very hospitable and helpful, he truely cares for his guests. There is a very cozy place to relax on the ground floor, next to the beautiful beach. You can have perfect peacturew at the beach close to the hotel, but remember that under the water there is a rocky bottom, I wouldn't recommend going there without swimming shoes or when it's wavy. Be careful when snorkeling os surfing, ask the locals to avoid boats, streams or shallow rocks (valid for every island).
Hotel in Maafushi
Lagoona Sunset is a 3-star property situated in Maafushi. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi. We really enjoyed our stay here, staff is amazing & incredibly helpful. They booked our speedboat and waited for us at the ferry to help with our baggages. The room and bathroom were just as in the pictures. Daily room cleaning (new towels every day). They also provide beach towels&umbrellas. We had breakfast included, it was simple yet very good.
Hotel in Mathiveri
Captal Island Villa is located in Mathiveri, within 200 metres of Casa Mia Maldives Beach and 200 metres of Stingray Beach. I really liked this place. One could feel the care on the part of the staff and the interest in clients having a good time. The hotel was very welcoming and listened to all your needs. The staff is wonderful, and special thanks to the chef for the huge portions of delicious fish that we ate every day. Also thanks to the chef for the evening of national dishes. It felt like you were in a circle of friends, perhaps thanks to the other residents of the hotel. It was also the first time I remembered the names of all the hotel staff.;)) Tip: be sure to take sunscreen with you, as it is not always available in stores on the island. In the first days, do not go to the "picnic" island )) And, if you have time, then take a ride on a public ferry, where you can admire the beauty of the ocean and see dolphins. My only regret is that I only took it once during the trip. Overall, I recommend it 100%; for me it turned out to be better than other five-star hotels (I won’t name names). If you are young and love to explore the culture and cuisine of other countries, then this is definitely the place for you. And in general, book, I think you won’t regret it.
