The beach was wonderful.
The beach was wonderful. I didn't like the neighborhood too much. It was my first time, so I didn't know what to expect, but I defintely prefer a quieter more homey vibe. It's just too busy for me and way too many kids.

City is old and worn out.
City is old and worn out. The old downtown could be beautiful but it is a deserted ghost town. The main road that hotels are on are littered with old dilapidated and boarded up motels and businesses. Restaurants and businesses closed. It reminds you of a time gone by...really sad

As far as Myrtle Beach, there was a lot of family activities to do together with the family. We went to the Fun Warehouse and there were go-carts to ride, bouncy houses for the smaller kids, skating, an arcade room, and more fun activities for the family. They also had a bar/concession stand with a variety of food and drinks. We also went to A place called Rioz Brazillian Steakhouse

I ALWAYS enjoy coming down to the beach as I am a South Carolina resident. I have spent every year of my life coming to North Myrtle Beach and staying. It is just a family tradition that I hope never dies. However the expense of visiting North Myrtle Beach has nearly tripled since I was a kid. Unfortunately, it’s almost completely unaffordable now. EVERYTHING is SO high. From the restaurants to putt putt, and go carts to arcades and hotel accommodations. It’s just unfortunate and terrible. Nonetheless, North Myrtle Beach is still an amazing place to visit “IF” you can afford it.
My family loved the quick access to the beach and all of the activities on the boardwalk. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We had an efficiency room which helped us save some money by not eating out for every single meal. The room had everything we needed, like plates, mugs, pans, and a coffee maker in good working order.
The location of the hotel was great! Right on the beach, open up the sliding door to the balcony and the ocean is right there. Very easy beach access. The room was very clean and the staff extremely pleasant. The building itself is dated, however; the room seemed to be freshened up with newer paint, carpeting, bedding.
Location was the main reason for selecting this hotel. On the beach, boardwalk, access to shops and restaurants (and amusement park if you are interested), pier, etc,
The ocean side balcony had good room and wonderful view.
The ground was well maintained.
It's OK if you need a cheap place to stay for a night but area around it and facilities not in great shape I would not recommend bringing your family here just pay a few extra dollars and go to a nice hotel
