Peachy City of Historic Importance
Home to the world’s busiest airport and a vibrant arts scene, Atlanta has an important role in US history. The gateway to the American South, it is the home of the barbecue and hundreds of peach trees that make it a surprisingly green city.
Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is the main arrival point, and Booking.com has an excellent range of Atlanta hotels near the airport. However, the main sights are clustered around Downtown. Near the gold-domed Georgia State Capitol is Underground Atlanta, a shopping centre in the old underground railway.
Just north are a few hotels near Georgia Dome, a huge sports venue, and to its north-east is Centennial Olympic Park, commemorating the 1996 Olympic Games. On one edge of this park are the CNN headquarters which offer behind-the-scenes tours. Opposite is the New World of Coca-Cola where you can sample all their worldwide products. Next door is the massive Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest indoor aquarium.
In the Auburn district is Martin Luther King’s former home and church, and a museum dedicated to him and the Civil Rights movement. A few blocks south in Grant Park is the city zoo, and the Atlanta Cyclorama and museum, detailing the city’s Civil War battles.
More national history is in the Carter Center, and the former home of Margaret Mitchell, author of ‘Gone with the Wind’.

BEAUTIFUL CITY. The event that I attended was the Joshua Giles "MANTLE" CONFRENCE at the State farm Arena. Eating was not a BIG experience due to time being a HIGH demand on my tight schedule. But BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE AND SENENRY!!! I just couldn't get enough of, But I noticed that wherever you got to go you're going to have to use the highway, (can't avoid it!). As for my hotel though the pricing was reasonable, next time I'll have to get a hotel that is more convenient for my stay. I hate that I didn't get a chance to experience allll that I desired too, but maybe next time I visit the HOT GORGIA PEACH OF ATLANTA, I''LL have to stay a little "bite" longer.JacksomUnited States - Scored 8.08.0
I love Atlanta so the location was not an issue for us.
I love Atlanta so the location was not an issue for us. We had dinner at Knife for my daughters birthday and Nick was AMAZING and the food was even better. the only good thing about my trip was the concert. The stay was overpriced, the parking is horrible. Unsafe and full of roaches that will chase you from getting in your car. Not to mention drug usage by people living in the parking garage that leave needles and it smells like urine. there is a sign to exit to the hotel where the door was locked. We thought the town itself was dirty, the streets were dirty, trash everywhere. For there being 3 major events going on that week , you would have thought the city would have wanted a better reputation. The restaurants are way over priced, and 9/10 places had crappy service and were adding gratuity to bills even when your there solo. Not to mention it was also more than the 15% and also was not mentioned at time of service, you didn't notice until you got your bill. Traffic was also a nightmare.

We did like going to the Coca-Coal world and seeing the Aquarium but that was it for my family. We did not like the popup tents for the Homles all over the place. Do NOT TOUCH the water fountains the Homles use them for their bathrooms and washing up. Atlanta you also have a BIG RAT problem as well. There are rats everywhere. Atlanta pleas clean your city up. You need to do more to help the Homles in your city. We have Homles in our big city as well we just have a lot of programs to help them find their way. Clean Atlanta up.BrendaUnited States
