Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.
Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.
For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.
As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.
Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Diversity of culture! Great food options - not too pricey.
Diversity of culture! Great food options - not too pricey. Fantastic public transport system - cheap, clean and very efficient. There's currently a lot of public works construction - which is good/bad. Didn't bother us too much but it is everywhere! So many sights to see including parks, zoo, gardens, iconic buildings and all within easy reach with trains or buses for a max $5 daily. Nice to see no graffiti, vandalism, or poverty on the streets. We felt safe everywhere and locals were always polite and quick to offer advice/assistance.

I recommend the Singapore tourist pass for 3 days from the airport. Super easy to get around, clean streets, friendly locals, cheap shopping at Bugis+. I recommend M&Y for electronics near the smoothie place. Lots of beauty services and clothing shopping available there as well for the best prices I saw out of all the other malls.

Singapore is safe, clean, green, very friendly and the people are courteous, fair and decent. It is a street food mecca, so many cheap and tasty places to eat. If you want to spend, there are amazing michelin rated top end restaurants too. There is excellent public transport, but taxis and ride shares are very well priced. There is much to do for the kids, the shopping is excellent. A few days in Singapore on the way to, or back from another adventure is well worth it. As a place to dip your toes into Asia it can't be beat, with it's blend of modern and historic, and it's exotic melting pot of cultures
Very friendly staff. Overall very clean. Rooms are very spacious for Singapore and the TV had chromecast integrated. Bedding was very comfortable for my taste. They accommodated my request for a vegan breakfast and overall very supportive.
The pantry was great with free coke, RedBull and other soft drinks as well as small snacks.
But it is quite pricy even for Singapore, but you are very close to Orchard Rd. and the rooms are larger compared to most other hotels in the area.
This is my 3rd time staying at the Sofitel City Center hotel. I am glad that I chose your hotel for this business trip that last for a week, thanks to the help of your staff team. Over the past two decades, I have stayed at many prestigious hotels in Singapore. Nowadays, the quality of facility and hardware of 4 to 5-star hotels is not very different. What differentiates a hotel from others is the quality of the service which cannot be delivered without great staff.
Location is excellent !!! Room is very Nice , Comfortable and Bathroom size is excellent compare to other Hotels in Singapore . Staff are very Nice and ready to Help you all the times . Thats my 2nd time in << Strand Hotel >> and all times going to Singapore , I am going to stay Me & My Family in this Nice Hotel .
The breakfast did not have a lot of choices but most of the hotels in Singapore don't event offer breakfast. The room was new, clean. The staff was very professional. The evening cocktails and snack is top. The cleaning service is also very good.
Good spot for one night in Singapore due to location between the city and the airport. Very clean and fairly priced compared to most hotels in the area.
