Great place just beach front. I stayed 2 days with my two years old and it was really good to get in and out. Also, they have a great and delicious restaurant that faces the river and the airport, my son loved having his meals there and watching the planes taking off.
I can’t forget to mention that the staff were really friendly, specially Vina , she was always really nice with me and son . Made the difference. I will return next year for sure.

Faro is the picturesque capital of the Algarve region, offering colourful streets and buildings, Moorish influence, and typical Portuguese charm. It is encompassed by the lagoon of Ria Formosa Natural Park, and offers wide beaches, a laid-back atmosphere, and a vibrant nightlife.
Occupied by Phoenicians and Carthaginians, and once an important Roman harbour and Moorish culture capital, it was almost flattened by the 1755 earthquake. Happily, the historic centre survived and is today one of best preserved in Algarve. Choosing a hotel in Faro’s Old Town will allow you to have a more authentic Portuguese experience.
The long, sandy beach of Praia de Faro is 7 km from the city, and the beach on Barreta Island –also known as Deserta - is probably the most tranquil in the region. Hotels near the beach in Faro and the surrounding towns of Olhão, Tavira, Quinta do Lago, Quarteira and Vilamoura, are all excellent ways to enjoy sunny Portugal.
Faro International Airport offers connections throughout Europe, and the city also offers ferry, railway, and bus links. Whether you need a beach resort or a hotel near Faro Airport, check out the wide offer available on Booking.com!
I personally love Faro so I am buyest. It's a small vibrant city with lots of charm and character. People are lovely and there are great amenities in the city and the vicinity. I think it's a great place to stay for a sunny holiday for whoever likes the sea, the heat, the countryside and a mediterranean way of life.

Faro is an interesting place to stay.
Faro is an interesting place to stay. There's several things to do -museums, small art galleries, historical old city, beach via a ferry which I'd a great trip, bird watching, nature reserves, indoor market with amazing fruit, fish, meat and bread. Other towns and cities in the Algarve and further afield are easily reached by train or coach.
There are several cafes and restaurants and it's quite different from southern Spain. People are friendly and most speak English.
We'll definitely go back.

Faro is a beautiful place.
Faro is a beautiful place. Great food and drinks on the doorstep of Faro Hotel. Beaches 20 minutes drive away. Lots of shops to see and prices for food reasonable. Could do the whole of Faro in a day. Ubers are plentiful there. We took one to a beautiful beach where you get served on the beach. Not sure if there is enough to entertain children. But really lovely place.
Stayed here for 1 night upon arrival to Portugal at Faro airport. More of an Airbnb style accommodation, self check in, no staff. Our room was pleasantly large and updated. Bed (equivalent to a queen size) was very comfortable. Modern bathroom, smart TV, strong AC and very clean. The street got extremely lively at night with bars and restaurants but we could not notice in our room. Parked our rental car on the street with no problems. Perfect for what we needed
Location is very good it is in heart of faro city in beach side near to faro bus station 4 minutes walk and faro train station 9 minutes walk and many restaurants around

Very easy self-check in at the house located in a quiet neighborhood. Spacious and well-equipped rooms with a clean, shared bathroom. Conveniently located next to the airport (15-20 min walk), the nicely decorated house has a homey vibe and offers everything you need for a last or first night in Portugal. Highly recommended for anyone who passes through Faro. Great restaurants in close proximity, too.
Our first taste of Portugal. The walk up the hill to the hostel was further than I expected but we made it with our heavy packs.
The staff were very helpful when I needed to ring the airport
The breakfast was pretty good & great to have
The guest house was perfect in so many ways . It was immaculate., and the bed very comfortable !
