Freshly refurbished inside. Outside still under renovations but this was clearly communicated prior to stay. We only stayed one night so didn’t experience any noise related to the renovations. Buffet breakfast was good.

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sporting events. Some examples of these cultures can be seen at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, one of the best in New Zealand. For more, try the upmarket dining of the Viaduct Harbour.

Auckland is like any big city with 1 million people.
Auckland is like any big city with 1 million people. Busy, yet exciting and a great change for those who are used to the quiet rural life. Consider Auckland as that little get away to see what is happening in one of NZ biggest centres. Great to attend shows and games etc. Food options are great as well.

Have previously lived in Auckland for many years. There is a lot to see, and several nice beaches, including surf beaches on the west coast. Waiheke Island is also great to visit and only a short ferry ride.

Auckland is a great city!
Auckland is a great city! Except if you get stuck in traffic-It’s absolutely terrible. Peek hour is any where from 3pm on a school day to about 6.30ish.
If they had the traffic congestion sorted out it would be great

We used the ferry boats for our transport around the city, all excellent mode of transport and easy to use once you find the timetable and wharfs, would recommend every time as parking is a total nightmare for tourists and ridiculous prices.
Had a great meal in the 'Kingsland Pub' in Kingsland before the Rugby, fish of the day all fresh and nicely presented, would eat there again.

I stayed in the auckland cbd, easily accessible to the skytower, all blacks experience, weta workshop unleashed, the Harbour and nearby islands of waiheke island, rangitoto and tiritiri matangi. Commercial bay Harbour eats is also closeby. Some of the streets in the cbd can be hilly if your used to flat streets but easily walkable.
Wow this is a hidden gem in Auckland CBD. Me and my 12 year old daughter stayed here when we attended concert at Eden Park. Room was very comfy and clean. Staff very friendly on arrival. Great location, was easy walk to Eden Park and also into CBD. The price was significantly lower than other hotels in CBD but quality was great. Highly recommend for those on a budget who still want safe, comfy and clean place to stay.
The Hotel was in a great location handy to the viaduct and Auckland central. It was a little tired and could do with a refresh. The staff were helpful and friendly. If you are after a place to stay in Auckland that is comfortable and close to the city Centre, then this is a good option.
The central location of the hotel means that you're close to almost everything in Auckland CBD area. The staff are very helpful and happy to help. Having breakfast included in the package is another plus. Nearness to the Skycity for airport and intercity buses is a big plus.
A great budget hotel within a few minutes walk of the Auckland CBD, Queens Street and the University.
Has on-site parking, good security and friendly staff.
I would come back.
Hotel is close to Auckland airport and offers a free shuttle service. The staff were helpful and there was free parking. It is fine for a one night stay prior to a flight.
