The room was spacious. There was a good atmosphere down in the lobby area with the Euros on. It was quite simple to get the tram from Central Station to the hotel. The reception staff were very friendly.

Rooms, while clean are a bit dated. Met basic needs. We had 4 rooms, one room was very cramped. Location is excellent but off the main street so not any views to speak of. Decent value.

The Best Culture and Nightlife this Side of a Canal
Jump on your city bike or hop on a canal boat and admire Amsterdam, the Venice of the North! The beautiful city houses, romantic bridges, iconic canals and street cafés create its unique atmosphere and give you an ultimate taste of its fascinating past.
Famous for its museums, most important of which are located in the Museumplein, Amsterdam offers you a chance to see unforgettable masterpieces by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Mondriaan and more. The Anne Frank House is a sobering reminder of the city’s more recent history. After a lot of walking, the Rijksmuseum is a great place to rest and get some extra culture before visiting Amsterdam’s lovely Vondelpark.
The medieval Old Centre with the always busy Dam Square and the tempting Red Light District is the most visited part of Amsterdam. Make sure to stop at Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein, homes to the best nightlife venues.
Shop till you drop at Amsterdam’s most luxury shopping street, PC Hooftstraat, the most popular street market at Albert Cuyp or in the fancy design shops of the Jordaan district. Famous pancakes and frites with mayonnaise are a must-try! The more adventurous traveller might want to try the pickled herring, followed closely by a local beer.
All these attractions are just a short train ride from the Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. Whether you want to stay at a cosy hotel on a canal, a modern apartment in a quiet part of the city or a room in the centre of everything, Booking.com has a perfect accommodation for your Amsterdam vacation.

Was not at all impressed with Amsterdam and it failed on my expectations. Ok the canals are nice, and also the houses but apart from that, nothing else. Road works everywhere you go, and really dirty streets with over filled bins and bin open with thrash all around them. Eating out is expensive and quality of food is pure touristic and rubbish. Paying extra for sideplates when paying nearly €30 for a 200g steak, bottle of 75ml water at nearly €8.. Loads of supposedly 'Italian' restaurants, but not one italian staff in sight, including the chef. Mostly all Asian or Turkish run. Only highlight is the canal cruise (costing €14 and the Heineken Musuem) .. not worth visiting again.

Combined my work trip with our first family international trip (5 year old kid), and it was great. We walked a TON, just loved looking around, people watching, eating outside. Great food (pizza at Pazzi, pasta at Spaghetteria, pancakes at Carousel, brunch at Dignitas, etc etc). One note: seemed like it would be a tough city if you are in a wheelchair. Not a lot of ramps, sidewalks are narrow and very uneven etc.

Beautiful architecture with a lot of history.
Beautiful architecture with a lot of history. The gondola boat ride shares a lot of the history while seeing beautiful parts of town. Everything is within walking distance. Had to take an Uber just once, even for arrival and departure we took the train. Nightlife is one of a kind with the red light district. Entertainment by just walking the strip, but they offer other one of a kind shows for a cost. It was full of tourism on a Wednesday and Thursday night, you can travel any day of the week. The food was spectacular and so many places to choose from- from snacking, to cafes, formal and casual but the best part was the selection of deserts. Overall great experience.

Beautiful city, easy to travel around.
Beautiful city, easy to travel around. Very friendly locals, very helpful and always ready for a chat.
Do not go to Amsterdam looking for a foodie experience. Especially in the tourist areas service is variable, food quality is also variable.

We loved the restaurants that we ate in.
We loved the restaurants that we ate in. I would say to avoid the very bright waffle places, I can’t seem to find the places that I went to 25 years ago, but I still dream of the waffles I had then. Don’t move until you look for bikes coming. Cars and bikes don’t stop for pedestrians. Can walk everywhere in the city if you are mobile.

In our three-day trip we've just touched the surface, but my three favorite things were:
- Heineken Experience: As the title says, it's an experience. Do not expect a deep history-guide or endless drinking, but a nice summary and a mini show
- van Gogh Museum: If you know his work, it's a must! Unfortunately, the most beloved (and my fav) picture, the Starry night is not there. The whole place is organized around the life and work of van Gogh
- Canal Tour: Just a nice ride on a boat through the endless canal-system of Amsterdam
We were upgraded for free to a view and king size bed which was greatly appreciated. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever stayed in. The location was perfect; close to Amsterdam Central Station for the Eurostar and the city centre. The room was of a good size for two of us. The staff that were encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Although spa/gym facilities were not used it was nice to have the option.
Modern hotel outside the city centre. Amsterdam is expensive and I decided to stay here because the hotel looked nice and was the same price as not very nice hotels closer to the centre. I liked this spacious hotel but it is a little far from the central city. The hotel is out of the way. I walked around at night and even though it is very isolated, the area felt safe as a male to walk around after dark.
Clean rooms, easy access with public transport to both the city centre, airport and Amsterdam outer areas. 24/7 staff service was excellent. Close to Vondelpark and hotel offers a good deal for bike rentals. nice restaurant and bakery within walking distance.
Good price, not so far from the city centre: the hotel is very close to the bus stop, there are lots of bus at different hours (morning until night). very comfortable and cheap for amsterdam prices. There is also a coffee maker in the room.
Amazing hotel and incredible staff who were very friendly as it was my first time in Amsterdam. Amazing location as everything is within walking distance to the City Centre. Amazing facilities.
