Great city, it was very hot but we took some days out to go into the Atlas mountains. Easy to find our way around once we got our bearings. An incredible city. The buzz and activity is a world apart from 'Western' countries and a truly wonderful experience. Le Jardin Secret is one of the top places to go and you should definitely try and haggle in the Souks for some lovely handcrafted goods. Best to avoid the street food. We stayed for 6 days at Riad Miski and it was superb! The staff was very accommodating, the room was very clean, the breakfast was delicious. Every day when we’d come back from our tours they’d ask how it was, ask about our plans for tomorrow, make suggestions and offer to help out. And when our daughter had fever, they made sure we had everything we needed. I recently booked a tour to the Ouzoud Waterfalls and was thrilled with the service. The price was very reasonable, and the experience was unforgettable. I also visited Jemaa El Fna and the Majorelle Garden—both were absolutely stunning. Additionally, I stayed in an apartment managed by Mr. Khalid, and the service he provided was exceptional. I highly recommend these tours and accommodations for anyone looking to explore these beautiful locations!

We were only in Marrakesh 3 days however packed a lot in from going up in a hot air balloon to see the sun rising over the Atlas Mountains absolute amazing experience after which we had breakfast in the desert. Had a tour of the Medina and the different shopping areas, rode a camel, hiked up the Atlas Mountains to a waterfall then had lunch in the guides home; went to a Hammam for a massage. Had lovely meals in the Medina especially Terrasses Des Arts which had an amazing food. Lots to see and do would highly recommend.

Good location to explore the surrounding area and also enjoy a wide range of activities. Best avoiding July/August due to extremely hot daytime temperature. Avoid eating at restaurants if on a budget. Smaller cafes are just as good but much cheaper.
