I like the museums, people, and restaurants. But palaces and shrines have same architecture and art design. So they are so similar to each other. I visited 5 palace/shrine but Gyeongbokgung is enough.
Lotte world is a kind of mall and disney world. its worth to see.
Gwangjang is too touristic I dont recommend to visit. Instead of it you can prefer less popular local markets.

Seoul is an amazing city that doesn't have never dies no matter the time. It is filled with culture and activities for every age range and every different person. The street food and the markets are two things that you'll miss so much once you leave. Shopping is another huge one, all the skincare and clothes that you can get there for such good prices is a plus.

Seoul is a great city to visit in the spring.
Seoul is a great city to visit in the spring. It is too hot in June and July.
Be sure you learn how to use the Taxi App on you phone. You cannot flag a Cab in Korea like you do in the USA. The old Palaces and Temples are great places to visit. There are Museums that are wonderful.

Seoul is a great, vibrant city - I travel there frequently for business and also for leisure. There's lots to see and do and if you really enjoy good food and skincare - Seoul is the right city for you.
It has a good mixture of shopping, sightseeing and nightlife. Seoul is only a short hop away from Hong Kong where I'm based so I like to come over alot. If you enjoy Korean culture, you will love Seoul. It really largely depends on your objective of visiting or motive.
The Bukchon Hanok Village is beautiful and a must see- very traditional korean homes from ancient times. A quaint village and very picturesque. Gyeongbokgung palace is also majestic and worth a visit, you can even dress up in traidtional korean dress from ancient Josean times.
Myeongdong is great for shopping - very reminiscient of Tokyo's Harajuku - lots of skincare shops, clothes and street food here.
Gangnam is number 1 for skincare and plastic surgery if that's what you are visiting for. Cheongdam has a nice designer shop street like 5th avenue in NY. All the korean idols live in this area - quite expensive. Apgujeong-dong in Gangnam is the best area for food, restaurants and bars - it's near Rodeo.

An Asian hidden surprise. A must go and see city.
An Asian hidden surprise. A must go and see city. Green, modern, traditional, super safe, no queues, thousands of restaurants and coffee places, beautiful parks and mountains, fantastic palaces, museums, galleries. It could be a very good example for many fading , dirty and overpriced European cities. Polite people, helpful, smily. I rank among top 3 cities - I have seen many, many.

Beautiful Seoul is a bustling city 24/7.
Beautiful Seoul is a bustling city 24/7. It's an old yet lively city that fully embodies the miracle of the Han River achieved by Koreans. With friendly and hardworking people, Seoul, always safe, is a place you'd want to visit again anytime.
1. Location - perfect if you want to stay near Myeongdong. Subway station is super near. Our room had a view of the Namsan Tower. Airport bus stop is near the hotel (reasearch in advance for cost and schedule). Shopping and street foot night market is a few meters away.
2. Value for money - hotel rate was unbeatable but book early!
3. Bedroom size was good for 3 people. One of the few hotels in this price range that offer a proper bath and shower (western style). Beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Daily water bottles were provided.
Convenient location as the hotel was situated:
1) Near a bus stop with the airport shuttle services, making it convenient to travel to and fro from Incheon International Airport.
2) A train station nearby for daily travels
3) Walking distance from Myeongdong Shopping district
4) Many eateries beside it. There was even a convenience store in the 1st floor of the hotel itself.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable to stay in. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
After experiencing some noise from the room next door, the kind man working the night shift did all he could to ensure our comfort. He moved us up to the 10th floor , which meant the rest of our stay was perfect!
Our first time in South Korea and I cannot recommend this Hotel enough!
Really accommodating and friendly staff, even though some morning staff have limited English, they do all they can through translator!
Imsadong is one of the hot place of South Korea, and this hotel is located in this place. Vary easy to go to enjoying place, and compare to other hotels, orakai is relatively cheap but clean and huge of room.
